By that logic no reasonable legislation should be pursued as Moscow Mitch will Scuttle it.
We rightfully shit on Mitch for not bringing things to the Floor because the “President won’t sign it” this is the same thing.
Pelosi needs to stop actively shooting down the idea of impeachment. She needs to outwardly reverse herself and endorsed full impeachment investigations and open hearings.
That’s not to say we are anywhere near an impeachment vote. The investigation will take time but the key is to out loud say impeachment around all these hearings.

You say this like most who are pushing for impeachment haven’t considered the risks, weighed them and came to a different conclusion than you.

Right now there are people saying the fact that Donald felt free to solicit the help of the Ukraine is directly linked to the lack of consequences for his previous work with the Russians. He made the call the day after Mueller testified before congress.

It’s not that Trump “felt free” to do this. He IS free to do this. Feelings have nothing to do with it, it’s reality. He does it because he can, because he is not subject to the law.

I’m for impeachment, I’ve called for it since the beginning of this administration. What I am not for is impeachment conducted in such a fashion that we lose the politics and Trump gets a second term.
Well there is that. I guess when the top cop tells you that she isn’t going to use her office to enforce the law you can feel free to break it. I never will understand how that was a great idea strategically, but people aren’t all over the internets calling me a great political strategist so what do I know.

These is just as much evidence pointing to him getting a second term if he’s NOT impeached as there is pointing to him getting a second term if he is, which is to say there is no real evidence either way, its all speculation.
