Dealing with the SCOTUS is not like a city traffic court where saying “Geeze judge I is sorry” is normal but it Will Not get you very far in the High Court. The Justices do not like to be trifled with.

We did it once before… it was called “civil war” at the time and several southern states, Georgia in particular, came off rather badly. I am sure MTG has heard of it. It was in all the papers around 160 years ago.

That’s because it’s never quite so simple. Proper analysis should always include all possible outcomes, and the prediction is merely the most likely one.
We don’t actually know, for example, if Epstein was Epstein’d or if that was merely the cover story while the fake ambulance drivers swapped his “body” for the homeless man they had killed in order to whisk him away to safety (easiest way to get out of a maximum-security prison is if people think you’re already dead, after all. And then they don’t look for you afterwards).
Here, unless we hear that she’s singing to the Feds, she’s similarly going to end up “dead”, in whatever form that takes. The one path forward that can be totally ruled out is one where she just gets sentenced and lives out long life in prison.

Yeah … and as I was taught, they simply are not going to entertain the idea of trying or retrying the case itself … going down the re-arguing path is a non-starter.
Could it be some off the wall strategy to get the matter returned to a lower court on some wierd technicality?

70 years of hard labour. I love that. Frankly I’m ecstatic and happy that those brave women and others who testified against her found Justice and maybe some peace. I was a volunteer working with adult survivors; heard many stories. Hearing the stories of Epstein/Maxwell’s survivors speak, I always believed them. Their words rang true.
Right now I have tears.

He’s claiming that the search is prosecutorial in nature, not potentially legislative. Therefore not allowable. They can only look for things that they would make or change laws for.
