About time little pouty face got handed his ass. And now the Senate needs to push the remaining through.

Tubby Tomerville’s stunt only highlights part of what is wrong with the Senate. Two per state is the worst example because it gives land authority over people. Do we need to talk about filibusters?

Still a consummate peckerhead.

I’m so old I can remember when Ron Johnson was the dumbest man in the Senate.

Those were the days…

On the effect of Tuberville’s 10 month hold on military promotions:

“We got all we could get” - Tuberville

“The senior senator from Alabama has nothing to show for his 10 months’ delay … except for the damage he did to our military readiness and the pain he caused to military families.” - Schumer

Is Tuberville doing this as a delaying tactic so Donald Trump (if he wins next year) can name cronies to top military positions so he can institute military rule?

Like almost everything they do these days, I don’t think there was that level of coordination at play. He was just having a months-long temper tantrum because he could, as a senator. They don’t really seem capable of long-term planning.

You know, the starting lineup for the Alabama football team could run the DoD, why the hell these promotions are necessary is puzzling.

Tommy Traitorville should have been charged as a traitor or at the very least the MSM should have hinted every night he is.

Now there is no reason that Schumer can’t hold the senate 24/7 until the final ten are approved. 40 hours by my math. Actually there never was a reason except for I don’t know what it was.

lolololololol

Just idle speculation of my own, has he done so because Liz Cheney openly speculated that Tuberville is holding open defense department positions for Donald Trump to insert loyalist if he has a second term, something Democrats have mused in the background?

I still think all the miliary bases in Alabama should be closed down and personal moved to other places. The only way to control idiots like him is to hurt his constituents esp in the pocketbook.

Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia will not approve any nominees for positions in the Environmental Protection Agency because he opposes proposed regulations to limit power plant emissions.

Arguably worse than Tuberville. The Senate is an archaic institution where good ideas go to die. It is as useless as the electoral college and comes from the same place of protecting the slave states.
