Trumps Predictably Won’t Comply With Subpoenas

He’s doing what he loves.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Pope Francis was saying a little prayer for Cardinal Burke to be called home. That he hasn’t died by now means that there is proof that there really is a Devil.

Let it be so.

I think Trump’s indictment is inevitable within the next 18 months.

That’s why my neighbors called Serv Pro. “Like it never even happened.” (Sad case. Daughter’s boyfriend, a vet with PTSD who felt his only way out was a handgun.)

I posted this on the Washington Post article last night.
I wonder how many of these Seals who claim that a vaccine mandate is a “risk of modification of their bodies” have gone to their local tattoo parlor or piercing shop to have their tattoos refreshed or getting a new one.

Children are pretty resilient and tend to learn in spite of difficulties. One positive thing that MIGHT come from all of this is as adults, they’ll know how to take a global pandemic seriously and get vaccinated if one is available and they might even get their children vaccinated.

You can invoke the 5th anytime you like, up to and including when the barista asks you what you’d like to order.

The two older kids - 15 and 12 - are fully vaccinated. The two youngers, at 8 and 7, haven’t been yet because they either had head colds, exposure to COVID, or actual COVID (that was the eight year old).

That’s since the beginning of November, when kids under 12 were eligible. It’s been tough.

Jeebus. I’ve seen more lifelike paper maché Mardi Gras floats.

I just heard this on the radio. As a veteran, can hardly fathom such utter bullshit. If the military can’t enforce basic health protocols, we might a well give up our mega-trillion dollar hardware advantage (not that it’s a bad idea to divert some of the largesse to the rest of our struggling society).

But, geez, what a pompous ass of a judge to even pretend there is any case to be made here.

I think that “garbage” is a little harsh! As an expert, I am sure that you are correct on the law. However, perception also matters. Dems, liberals and progressives have watched Mr. Trump, his subordinates, and family members engage in highly unethical, likely unconstitutional and probably illegal activities for 4+ years, and nothing substantive seems to have happened to any of them. This creates a perception of legal impotence that is highly frustrating and disheartening.

It is clear that the U.S. political and legal system was not designed to deal with someone like Mr. Trump. Of course, the legal remedies may eventually kick in, but up till now, at least, it is hard to say that his strategy isn’t working.

Ha! Right. If he had any principles he’d die peacefully in his home.

Have a look at this story from Josh:

The arrogance and stupidity of some of these folks is staggering. 46 years old and gone.
