I think he is cutting just a little too fine.
Thing is Iâm pretty sure he doesnât.
And not just Trump -he wasnât âcleverâ enough to think of this himself -but also Rubio, Scott, and DeSantis. They apparently donât see human beings, but groups of people to divide and conquer for personal gain.
Interesting that he (or rather his âteamâ) thinks he has more potential with Hispanic voters than other voting segments. If he supported a serious gun control bill, heâd gain many many more potential voters. I forgot how loathsome and repulsive Rick Scott is.
Itâs hard to keep track.
How is this pander going to play in the Villages. Are those self segregated senior citizens going to take kindly to anything that doesnât exalt their whiteness? A lot of them might stay home.
Personally I think this does nothing for Trumpâs election chances. It just violates equal protection.
Itâs all transactional in Trumplandia.
Well, now. If Rubio and Scott said that there were no political considerations involved, then that settles it for me. If you canât trust GOPers working toward re-election, then who can you trust?
Oh yeah?!?
Then why were Democrats excluded from those discussions?
Also, the refuges from Venezuela most likely fled that country due to the hyperinflation and economic collapse caused by Trumpâs brutal sanctions in August of 2017.
Trumpâs sanctions have caused countless deaths and endless misery. And he and the robber baron class are still trying to destroy their country by any means available in order to instill a Trump friendly puppet to head the country and enable the looting by US interests.
When Trump thinks of Hispanics he sees no difference, no matter what country a Hispanic person comes from.
And doesnât Houston have a large Venezuelan population? Have Cruz, Cronyn, and Abbott weighed in on this?
Precisely. Dems should be talking about this, warning about this, showing America how two-faced Chump is, and remind them he will NEVER NEVER carry through on what he is saying to get their vote. He never comes through for the little guy and these Venezuelans will become a political football, not Dur Fuhrerâs pets.
I see a real business opportunity in forged Venezuelan identification papersâŚ
I mean, a fingerprint, a picture, and an laminating machine, and youâre in businessâŚ

Cynical!
Letâs not kid ourselves, his base will be fine with it.
It is cynical. Mexicans and other Latinos would have to be crazy to vote for that loon. Trump opened his campaign for 2016 with a bigoted assault on Mexicans.
There is no single block of Hispanic voters. Florida Cuban voters have nothing in common with Texas Mexican voters, let alone the hundreds of thousands of Puerto Ricanâs who have moved to Florida over the last decade. There has been a steady exodus of Venezuelans since Chavez came to power, but only a relatively small number of them are citizens. The big mystery of recent years is why there hasnât been an outpouring of Puerto Rican voters for the Democrats in Florida. If the Democrats could figure that out, Florida would turn pastel blue overnight.
