Trump Vows Action On Guns As He Praises NRA: They’ll Come Around

Because when has extortion never worked for Trump?

They’ll “come around” when Trump changes his tune, after the $30 Million in NRA dark money is safely in his campaign coffers.

  1. Stop selling ALL semi automatic weapons
  2. Stop selling ALL high capacity magazines
  3. Raise taxes on ALL guns and ammunition to very high levels
  4. Use that tax money to offer attractive buy backs for ALL outstanding guns with a premium for the semi-auto ones.
  5. License all gun owners. Don’t have to take away their weapons, but they need to be held responsible for their proper use like not having them fall into the wrong hands (for example children).

One through four have a snowball’s chance; number five somewhat less than that.

You forgot amazing. One of the reasons I can’t listen to the shitgibbon (other than the fact that he’s constantly WHINING) is his miniscule vocabulary.

Thank you. It’s important to recognize the ideological implications of Trumps and Republican code phrases.

They will only come around if they have no other choice, except perhaps something they like even less. Let us give them that choice.

This slope is particularly slippery, because it is covered with blood.

the NRA has over the years taken a very, very tough stance on everything and I understand it. It’s a slippery slope. They think you prove one thing and that leads to a lot of bad

Saying the quiet part out loud again.

  1. NRA has been too extreme and successful
  2. They fear the trail of dominoes that will fall if anyone is ever permitted to assemble the ubiquitous evidence that current gun laws are recklessly permissive
  3. The best we can reasonably hope for is that Wayne & NRA don’t fight much when we pursue remedies from atop this pile of fresh corpses

I’ll add the requirement that all owners of firearms have a minimum of a $10 million liability insurance policy for the potential damage they and their weapons may cause.

Since 1 - 4 have a snowball’s chance, I go with my idea. Although on your list I would add 100% tariff on all imported guns and ammo. On the grounds of National Security, of course.

When you’re on a first name basis w/ the head of the firearms lobby…

he’s not going to do anything because the NRA won’t let him and he’s no strong leader. He’s a wuss who will do what they tell him to do.

hint hint
if I just maybe found out 10 or 20 million found it’s way into my piggy bank, all will be cool

How many life savings have been lost to Pacheko Parlours? Did you ever stop to think of that?

Apparently, tRump just got word that the NRA is $10 million in the hole and has tons of legal bills to pay first, so he must be calculating they can’t give him the kind of cash he was counting on for his re-election…So eh, maybe fuck 'em.

Unless, Pepe La Pierre can give him some free shit what good is the NRA to him anyway? tRump doesn’t need an A+ on an NRA scorecard. That’s for chumps and chickenshits like everyone in the GOP.

Its getting kind of hard for tRump when the people he once counted on are found to be as corrupt and greedy as himself. There’s only so much advantage to be gained from money-grubbers…and definitely no honor among thieves.

No, he isn’t confident they’ll come around. He’s confident he can pretend he’s thinking about doing something about it and people will soon forget.

Well, there is that nuclear power plant that famously melted down not too long ago.

Probably safer there than at local Walmarts these days.

It is almost all business, but I do have a ticket to a Koala cuddle session on Friday.
