Trump Tries to Convince New York That He'll Do Some Extra Retribution If It Elects Mamdani

President Donald Trump, in his second term, has been notably fixated on his home city and its local governance. Early this year, he bought off mayor Eric Adams by making a criminal indictment hanging over his head disappear. Then, as Adams faced ghastly polling numbers and a trio of general election challengers — among them…

“He is going to have problems with Washington like no Mayor in the history of our once great City”

The Syhphillis has affected his brain so much that he cant remember the “[President] Ford to City: Drop Dead” headline of the mid 70s NYC bankruptcy era.

If Kafka and J can manage to bridge their differences, we can learn to get along.

We may never cuddle and groom each other, but if we have each other’s back in a fight, and share what resources we manage to hunt and kill, isn’t that enough?

“identify appropriate Federal funds to sanctuary jurisdictions, including grants and contracts, for suspension or termination, as appropriate.”

Fun Fact
Oil and coal producers depend on federal funds. Are they truly patriotic enough?

This would have been a much tougher sell if Democrats had rhetorically established the last part of this sentence for the past three months: “it’s the Republicans government, they control all three branches, and we can’t stop them from destroying their own government if that is what they want to do.”

After that it could be added that Democrats are willing to help more responsible Republicans prevent that calamity but there is of course a price. After all, it was Republicans who got us into this mess in the first place.

Over and over and over again.

Yeah, I know, some Democrats have done their best to deliver that message and there is little point in litigating leadership defects now but it’s tough to feel the tide go by without squeaking.

Now on to the barricades; basta!

This won’t help Trump in Manhattan, but what about Staten Island, and the Congressional swing districts next year?

Donnie: “He is going to have problems with Washington like no Mayor in the history of our once great City. Remember, he needs the money from me, as President, in order to fulfill all of his FAKE Communist promises…"

So, now Dear Leader’d have us believe that Zohran Mamdani is the Gus Hall for the new millenium.

It seems an ironclad rule of shutdowns, no matter who is “in charge”, that Republicans get and deserve the blame. That said, I assume tomorrow is another TACO Tuesday, as far as the alleged “meeting” with Democrats from Congress will go?

Nothing Trump says he will or won’t do means very much in terms of how he governs (and, I use that term very loosely for an autocrat wannabe). The things that are worth noting in relation to The Donald are what he and his minions are actually doing, including their efforts at covering up things.

Nothing he says or does should be allowed to deflect attention from his crimes, the state of his health and mental incapacity, and his march to autocracy.

Contrast the SCOTUS then v. the SCOTUS now: In the 1974 Supreme Court case
United States v. Nixon, the vote to order President Nixon to surrender the Watergate tapes was unanimous, with a final tally of 8–0, with Justice Rehnquist recusing. A 6–3 decision on 2024, the Supreme Court ruled that former presidents are absolutely immune from criminal prosecution for “core” official acts taken in office and enjoy a presumption of immunity for other official acts. Conclusion: SCOTUS political partisanship, ignorance of the U.S. Constitution, and biased corruption.

This is such BS. Sen. Thune could fix this in ONE DAY by simply nuking the filibuster. Thune doesn’t want to do that for two reasons. First, when the Democrats get back in charge of the Senate, they would be free to run without a filibuster and ANY consideration of GOP input on anything in the new Congress. In fact, a Democratic House and Senate with a Democratic POTUS could vote to incarcerate anyone involved in J6 OR the corruption plaguing the Trump Administration and the SCOTUS and there is nothing anyone could or would do about it. They know that the NAZI crap the GOP is doing now would fully justify said actions for 55% of the Electorate. Just like the public hanging of John Wilkes Booth and his Confederate accomplices after the assassination of Lincoln.

Second, if Thune passes an FY26 Budget solely on GOP votes, they will fully own every bad thing that happens from here on out to Nov. 2026. They don’t want that, because they know shitstorm of grief is coming their way and they want some company in the bathtub.

I say screw them. Let them figure out how to run the government when they can’t pay anyone but us retirees. They can stay shutdown until Nov. 2026, for all I care, because we can’t do any worse than the mismanagement we are seeing now.

Let the GOP come to Jeffries and Schumer for help when it all turns to shit and another group of REAL PATRIOTS, (not MAGA reprobates), storms the Capital of Shame. Remember Ezekiel 25:17 !!

As of Monday evening:

  1. Schumer and Jeffries met with the patient in the White House today, and did not cave.
  2. The patient and his incomp SecDef (which is still Dregseth’s title by law) will blather at hundreds of assembled brass hats tomorrow and the republic will not instantly fall.
  3. The blood of the citizenry is not flowing through the streets of Portland.

Fuck defeatism.

Funding a govt that is now fairly far into the pocket of the traitor scumwad piece of shit is like carrying gas cans for the guy who is prepping to burn your house. Do nothing to help them do anything. No. Thing. Step back, let them flail and cry and lie and “truth” all fucking night long.

Many Americans have been sleepwalking through this. It’s time everyone had their head slammed into the reality that we are in a banana fucking republic.
