Why does everyone just accept as fact that tangeranus can make all his criminal trials stop if he somehow gains the presidency?

What should they do? Their only chance is to delay beyond the next election and they know it.

Not soon enough.

He can’t stop the state trial, but he can stop the federal trials.

He’ll go the way of Rush Limbaugh

I have some slick hokey-pokey steps I would like to show off at this venue.

Speeding up consideration would therefore only serve a “partisan motivation,” he argued.

Doesn’t slowing it down serve a “partisan motivation” on his side? Most innocent folks want to be cleared sooner rather then later. Doesn’t he want his name cleared before we vote next year? (/snark, sort of)

Thanks for saying it so I didn’t have to! :smirk: :+1:

Of COURSE it does, @enn, just as FAILING to charge TFG w/ insurrection would be “political”, too.

The grass is still green?
Hint: applications of tomato sauce (Catsup!!) helps keep the grass green if your dog–or other mammals–like to pee in a particular spot.

Forgive me, I’m loving the battle.

I’m old, I enjoy the excitement and am highly motivated to outlive the lowlife.

Who’s going to argue this opposition to Smith’s motion before the Supreme Court?

Please, please, please let it be Alina Habba. And please, please, please, let the court permit cameras for this one oral argument.

I’ve been asking this question for the last 30+ years. Literally, ever since the book the Art of the Deal came out. I read a short section of the book while standing next to a life size cardboard cut-out of Trump in Lauriat Books at the Fox Run Mall near Portsmouth, NH. I realized then he was a major a-hole and wished I never had to hear about him again. Ha! He’s the curse that keeps giving. If he succeeds in transforming our country into a christo-fascist state, we’ll never stop hearing about Trump. If he fails, I suspect we’ll only stop hearing about Trump once he’s dead and buried.

Well, only years after he crashes and burns.

O you mustn’t think it will end. Trump is a bad dream that won’t die when he’s dead. His memory, his damage will haunt our children’s children. He will not soon be forgotten.

I miss the time when innocent people would want to clear their names as quickly as possible.

I guess it just isn’t as important, these days…
