This was an interesting primary. GQP and their PACS were supporting the candidate they thought they had a better chance of beating (Dems have done the same thing). They lost. This is going to be another race with a lot of money poured into it. The district is a little more competitive than perhaps they would like.

What a great way to damage the economy by removing immigrants who will do manual labor jobs that Americans don’t want, and H1B visa workers who do jobs not enough Americans are qualified for. Get 'em out of the country and then deny the application, job done.
At least it will slightly boost the number of people with White skin in the country, which of course is the point.

The real answer is: The US fails strategically PRECISELY because we have an overwhelmingly powerful military, and that makes military solutions seem like an EASY answer to complex problems.
