Infection and death rate should be viewed as a percentage of the population. If viewed through that lens then states like California have one of the lowest rates. But that’s math so …

The east coast states got hit earliest. We did not know how to treat at all. The infection rates were very high before anyone knew what was happening. So, many more died.

Seven months later we know more, we can treat better. We learned to wear masks and get lighter viral loads. We learned to stay outside when visiting people.

Trump learned nothing.

After Trump singled out Democratic-led states for the country’s increasing COVID-19 fatality rate, without providing specific evidence to support his assertion, he went on to further rail against blue states for not easing up on coronavirus-related restrictions sooner.
“By the way we’d recommend they open up their states,” Trump said. “It’s hurting people far more than the disease itself.”

Okay … so The Blue States is where all the ChynaVirus dying is happening and they should have opened up more and faster? Truly a very stable genius, hard at work. Excuse me, I mean hardly working.

That’s “hardly” as in “barely” and “working” as in “functional”.
