Every private entity queried by the committee (banks, phone companies, etc) knows there will be a direct correlation between their cooperation and the level of bullshit from hell the GOP will rain down upon them if or when they retake the majority. I’m sure direct, unambiguous threats have already been issued by various GOP members of the House.

This lawsuit was written rather quickly, over the weekend.
It was filed on Friday.
The section claiming he did not have time nor a meaningful opportunity to respond have more merit.
He had a full month to reply.

Yes. These are confusing times. It can often be difficult to parse all the meta to get a clear picture of events.
This, however, is NOT one of those occasions.
Here we have a guy stupid enough to say something dickish to the President after the latter just finished extending seasons greetings to the former’s loved one.
After decrying the outcry of outrage he produced, our beleaguered practitioner of stupidity reveals himself as not just someone who did a dickish thing, but rather as a huge, overflowing bag of flaming dicks leaving absolutely no question where his character point sits on the virtue integrity scale (hint: you’ll need to measure it in kelvin).

The problem in waiting for some other shoe to drop, as Josh has pointed out, diminishes the power of the information that’s already staring us in the face. And if we don’t get some big reveal, the first move by the Reich is to declare everything a nothingburger and start loudly demanding that we “move on.”

The very fact that Chump had a War Room operating down the street from the WH is damning, is it not?
We already pay a very heavy price to make sure the POTUS has every possible strategic and informational advantage. There is already a “War Room” and a backup War Room, and a flying aboard AF1 War Room, and secure bunker War Room, etc. Chump even got us to pay for him having his Florida WH.
So what legitimate need was there to have a Willard War Room?
