It’s not the amount that matters, it’s the humiliation of being forced to pay it. He was once King of the World, untouchable as President. Now he’s being fined like a common criminal. I don’t think he’s enjoying having to follow a judge’s orders like this. Look at the way he stormed out of the courtroom yesterday.

OK, speaking as someone who really struggled with grief, you don’t just end up dying because you want to. I can imagine he’d want to, and the stress could induce it, it’s not a sure thing. He’s also more likely to wind up (even more of) a vegetable.
