Trump Loses Final Bid To Dismiss Colorado Ballot Suit
The Independent reports:
Donald Trump has lost his final bid to stop a Colorado lawsuit that could see him kicked off the ballot for the 2024 presidential election. A judge in the state has ruled that the lawsuit brought to block the one-term president from the ballot next year can go ahead next week.
Mr Trump had asked for the lawsuit, which was filed on 22 September by Republican and unaffiliated voters represented by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, to be dismissed.
In the lawsuit, the advocacy group states that Mr Trump incited an insurrection at the US Capitol on January 6 with their lawyers arguing that his actions on that day were a violation of the Constitution’s 14th Amendment.

It’s my considered opinion that America and human kind were exceedingly lucky to survive 4 years of trump in office. I’ve been around for presidents since Truman and I say trump by far is the worst and most dangerous one of the lot… including Nixon. Or Bush Jr.

I think you’re correct, but I think that presents a difficulty for him.
- If he decided to kill himself wouldn’t his security detail step in to stop him?
- He’d have to get a gun somewhere, he can’t buy one (in theory) so he’d have to steal one. From whom, the security detail?
- I can’t imagine a scenario where he’d actually harm himself. Maybe the Nero scenario where you get a servant to do it for you?
- It wouldn’t fit with the martyr narrative he and his followers have created for him. So it seems like he’d want to engineer a scenario where he is “killed by the Deep State.”

It will end when a mentally ill person, or a sane one who lost a loved one because of an abortion ban, hunts one of the SC down and kills them using a weapon of war. I prefer to say when and not if…the SC think they are immune from blowback…

He would lose unrestricted access to his phone, the Internet, and cable TV, which are just as essential to him as oxygen to breathe. He wouldn’t be getting hamberders and diet Cokes in there either. So I doubt it’s part of some master plan. He can’t survive without access to communication with the outside world. It would kill him.
