Trump Signs Executive Orders As COVID Negotiations Stall

President Donald Trump signed a series of executive orders Saturday afternoon, a move he telegraphed from a Friday press conference from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

FFS, just hide the Goddamn Sharpie already…

Fat Nixon’s EO’s aren’t worth the paper they’re scrawled on.

The executive orders are illegal. They will never go into effect. Congress has to pass legislation, which a president can sign.

It’s all a con so Trump can pretend to do something for his idiot cultists and then blame Congress when it all gets thrown out by a court.

Only the dumbest and most gullible among us will buy this — and they already support Trump.

The orders, Trump said… centered on…

Oh, and I also hereby order everyone to take a few doses of Oxy. To cure the pandemic. Believe me, you’ll… what? …what?

trump completely misrepresented and flat out lied about the democrats’ position.

It was brazen beyond what I even thought possible from him, and nobody has a lower regard for the man than me.

He also said that he was “looking at” income and capital gains tax cuts, the former mainly for “middle income and lower income people.”

…And you get a car…and you get a car…

Unlike Oprah, though, he won’t be using his money. He’s trying to bribe voters with dollars belonging to the federal government, which he considers his personal piggy bank.

On the payroll tax deferment, Trump said that it would last the rest of 2020, and that the tax would be permanently eliminated if he wins in November.

So he’s now on record promising that if he’s reelected he will abolish Social Security… Let’s get some good ads on that now.

He’s illogical, so that makes it a set.

This only occurs on days ending in a “y”.

How does the eviction ban thingy work? Dont landlords have bills to pay, too? Mortgage payments, property taxes, property management fees, etc. Will they too be allowed to miss their obligations?

Let me suggest where to put the Sharpie.

Well, if he’s just overtly trying to buy votes, personally, I’m going to hold out for the LaPierre/Falwell package -yachts, private jets, fancy vacations, fine dining, and tailored clothes. I imagine it’ll cost a pretty ruble.

Negotiations by the WH and Meadows were always done in bad faith paving the way for this moment; . Fat Donnie charging in to say he saved the day even though passage is highly unlikely. Always optics. It’ll work with his moron MAGAs.

I can’t believe he’s just shutting down vote by mail for overtly political reasons, and there doesn’t appear to be anything anyone can do about it. I think it’s past time to take this to the courts, though I have no faith in this Supreme Court. John Roberts has yet to see a voting right that he believes in.
