Nicolle Wallace showed the huge line of cars in Texas showing up to receive boxes of food handed out by the National Guard. Saw it elsewhere in Teas last week. Why aren’t Florida farmers giving it away instead of plowing the fields? Surely, there are people who can pick the crops and stay safe.

Yeah, but that’s teenagers, when you think you’re invincible and will live forever. That starts to change around age 40, and then you start thinking a hell of a lot more about mortality by around age 60.
Most of the movers and shakers in politics and business are old enough to relate to a video clip of someone being intubated (which is a nasty process all on its own) and then dying of respiratory failure. Or even surviving with damaged lungs, kidneys, and heart. A few PSAs about what it’s like to actually catch this thing and catch it hard, might change some folks’ minds who are shrugging it off.

T-minus 5 minutes and counting. Discussion with the mission crew are renegotiating the actual launch window. Operational Mendacity levels were discovered to be outside of parameters as suggested by Fox News. Technicians are working on resolving that issue and rewriting the mission script to accomodate. Meanwhile there are questions on when to do umbilical release as the Mission Head has yet to hand off his smartphone before launch.
