I recall Bloomberg has donated a lot of the assets he put together for his campaign to Biden.
At least it wasn’t a Prius.
when people show you what they are…believe them…
But only with the base. Not enough.
This is key to his prospects for reelection. You don’t get reelected with only your base’s support. He’s never reached out to his opponents, gives lip service to the huge demographic of POC and if anything has become more of a misogynist and misanthrope than he was prior to January 2017.
Don’t forget he would like to date Ivanka but unfortunately she’s his daughter.
Yup. It appears to have had zero effect on Donnie – he’s still a criminal.
Exactly. Nothing redeeming about the man whatsoever.
Yeah? What’s your point? - John Barron
well, a bigly fatly NO! I will not die for your money…but if i decide to, yu are welcome to join me.
I’m sure he’s listening to his preacher and Fox News. It’s hard to not get sucked in if one is the least bit willing.
trump should be ignored in general right now, but this kind of stuff in particular doesn’t need to be covered by TPM, imo.
Nasty fk. Truly.
Any future military draft should start at age 65.
Those seniors would be doing for the children and their country.
Potential good news:
Heretofore the media have covered all of Trump’s coronavirus press conferences as if they were the Pearl Harbor news flash of December 7, 1941. But I noticed yesterday evening that CBS, which had assiduously covered them before, was proceeding with scheduled programming. Don’t know about other major networks.
Have the media finally caught on that the conferences are disguised campaign rallies and occasions for political score-settling?
If anyone saw the other major networks, I’d love to know if they did the same. Industriously non-covering this monster may be the most effective public health measure possible right now.
Ironically, many of these “stick a finger in the eye of the elitist establishment” Trumpie types have been doing quite well for themselves, yet they continue to harbor resentment against Dems and libs and anyone who hates Trump and is not like them.
My take is that, for all their relative economic well-being, these people are mostly just a generation or two removed from poor and struggling, and less educated and culturally and intellectually sophisticated than the people they hate and use Trump to get back at, and resent that, because they feel that we look down at them–which of course we do, but not for these reasons.
I think it’s ultimately about cultural and ethnic resentment and has nothing to do with money, at least presently, although perhaps generational memories of economic struggle and marginal existence has also embittered their collective familial outlook. To them, we’re these self-important know-it-all smartypants who look down at people like them, and this is their way of sticking it to us.
In other words, they’re self-pitying malcontents who deserve our contempt. It’s all about the revenge of white trash beer drinkers against hoity toity merlot sippers.
I’m planning to do something other than dancing.
“So happy I can barely speak” Does that mean he will finally STFU?
What the evidence that re-opening things in the middle of a pandemic would be good for the economy?
To be fair, it was true all along that he could barely speak.
Instead of “money” call if taxes and your statement changes. That’s the issue. These lazy deadbeats are spending MY hard earned money. Trumps going to straighten them out!
