On Wednesday morning, President Donald Trump congratulated Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) for not getting infected with COVID-19 in a tweet dripping with sarcasm.
That is the worst part about Trump is that he showed me the POS my neighbors are, many of whom vote for Trump just because he is such an insulting and aggravating figure against the people they hate. The masks of civility came off and now I know who they are. No going back.
Get off my Gov. he’s doing a great job. And he’s a Dem we worked very hard to get elected so we could rid ourselves of that horrible monster Bevin.
Governor Andy Beshear knows the people of his state and he has consistently been a calm, informative, fact based leader that encourages empathy for all in his daily press conferences.
I can’t stand the trumpers either, but the leader of our state must lead for all, unlike our Senators.
And…by acting in this manner he is helping us to rid ourselves of the R super majority in the legislature, which is going to take awhile.
In retrospect, I can be sarcastic as hell and make derogatory comments about folks of different political persuasions or beliefs than my own. That’s my right as a private citizen.
It is not the right or privilege of the President of the United States, at a time they should be (but aren’t) providing calm, forward looking leadership.
This. There IS no going back. I can’t even have these people in my sphere any longer. I don’t trust them, I don’t respect them, I am largely repulsed by the mere idea of them.
As a matter of self-preservation, I’m asking you to STOP with comments like that about Trump. Here’s why:
If that asshole EVER says anything showing the slightest bit of compassion or humanity, I’ll probably have a heart attack.
But outside of the whole heart-attack thing: I absolutely agree.
When the news tells us the moron has it, how many people here will be worried, concerned, upset? I say the sooner the better, this guy is trying to kill as many especially from blue states as he possibly can.
