McConnell knows what he is doing, if he had Trump’s lawyers on Prime Time, the republicans would get destroyed. McConnell could have had his lawyers on at any time, but has chosen to do much of the work late into the night.
They set it up that way so people DONT see his defense, because its going to be a shit show.
He can declare a national emergency, send out the troops to ensure every household is tuned in, then drop a few drones. GOP won’t care.
