Trump’s Biden Insults At Rally | Talking Points Memo

President Donald Trump on Thursday added more fuel to fire in his escalating attacks against former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Remember every word of his rant violates EEOC guidelines and would get you tossed out of most workplaces.
Whatever happened to Minnesota nice? They used to have sane Republicans like Arne Carlson and David Durenberger.
Democrats like Humphrey stood up against the Southern Dixiecrats.
When you look at that rally it looks like they were afflicted with the worst of both worlds, MAGA and Dixie.

By Trump’s criterion, Mike Pence is an excellent Vice President.

Hunter and Joe Biden are big boys. They can take it. Trump’s racist, verbal assault on the Somali community was unspeakably vile.

Nixon’s personality was inherently self-destructive, but he was intelligent. Donnie is inherently self-destructive and really, really stupid.

They bussed in shitkickers from all over MN, WI, IA, and the Dakotas for this, and STILL failed to fill up Target Center.
Outstate Trump has lots of support still, but not enough to win either MN or WI.

And all with a background of cops…

Then cops wonder why they’re not seen as protectors…

Which resonated loudly with the unspeakably vile…

The Rally was not political so much as therapeutic for a severely mentally ill person. Given what is surrounding him and coming for him, I am pleased that Trump is choosing this (relatively) harmless outlet to unleash his anti-social impulses.

'Cause that’s ALL we got here. It’s all id.

I simply cannot imagine a soul so empty as does reside in this man, a man we were misguided enough to elect as President of the United States

and that he “was only a good vice president because he knew how to kiss Barack Obama’s ass.”

To this day, I still don’t understand how people can see Trump speak like this and not be instantly offended. I mean, I understand, there are a lot of racist, fearful people who have fallen for Republican propaganda from the last couple decades…I’m just amazed that anyone would go out there and cheer this stuff on. The hate, the lying, the racist screeds, it’s all stuff that you’re taught from childhood to reject, I just don’t see how so many Americans are just fine with this.

Sure would be nice if America rejected this stuff in 2020, but I don’t know if that will actually happen, which is worrisome.

The only surprise is that after the rally, the Trump supporters didn’t burn down the Somali section. I guess it helped that they were all from out of town.

He appears to have an abnormal need to bask in human misery and grief.

The other day he was carrying on about bodies arriving at Dover Airbase and how all the families seemed okay and then how they screamed when the coffins came off the plane.

I wonder if he maimed or killed small animals when he was a kid?

I took some heart watching the guy in the cap over Trump’s right shoulder, on the end. He spent quite a bit of time looking quite uncomfortable.

Seems even his loyal followers have their limits.

I guess is already to late to do this, but maybe Ivanka can tell Trump that no matter how rabidly fired up his base is, they can only vote once and they are not enough to win an election.

Its good some people think Trump will get reelected. This is good since it should reduce 3rd party votes. I feel if Trump wins this country will be finished.
