She claimed to have a ticket, which was easy enough to get. I suppose the event organizer can still “reserve the right to refuse service” like a restaurant if they don’t like what they see.

I hope they don’t do that. Low turnout is still turnout, and Biden won’t be holding rallies in the near future. We don’t want to get suckered into a contest of who can pull the most people into an event, because Trump will always win that one. Unless there’s a miracle vaccine before November (and there won’t be).

Her ticket was revoked for a transparently egregious reason, but at that point, she was technically in trespass. Her protest was effective. No need to make her a martyr. Exaggerated propagandizing is not helpful.
She was not “thrown” into the police car, and the police did not “rip off” her mask, which was a scarf, not a mask. When she asked that the loose end of the scarf be put back, an officer tried to do so, but since it was just the loose end of her headscarf, it easily slipped off again. As for being “DRAGGED”, she went limp so her feet dragged along as they carried her away by the shoulders. At worst, she was discomforted by the handcuffs which probably weren’t necessary but likely standard policy. They did not appear to have been put on vindictively tight, but her thin wrists do not have much meat on the bone, so she could very well have been bruised there.
I think she is brave, and getting thrown out so very publicly achieved far more than sitting quietly in the crowd with her shirt. Well done. The police acted appropriately. It is fair to ask whether a black woman would have had the same experience had she behaved exactly the same way.
Needless to say, the campaign was stupid to draw attention to her. But that is so typical of Trumpian bungling.

Parscale is probably toast now. By next week Trump will have another person running the show, because his reaction is always to find someone to blame when something goes wrong. Parscale has been on thin ice lately anyway.
