Trump Questions Mueller’s Warning On Election Meddling | Talking Points Memo

It does not appear that President Trump has taken to heart special counsel Robert Mueller’s warning about Russia’s continued meddling in elections. A reporter asked Trump about the warning Thursday, after Trump on Wednesday had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

It’s like he and his campaign are still working with the Russians or something.

Of course, Trump questions it. Anyone telling the Emperor he’s not wearing any clothes is going to be called into question.

Where’s the surprise in this?

And oh, by the way, where are the stories about the Senate passing the budget that was previously passed by the House? Where’s the story about Pelosi accompanying Ilhan to Africa? Where’s the story about the tariff on Chinese goods that, along with the cut Fed rate, led to a pretty sizeable loss on the stock market today?

Anyone…???

Bueller???

If the Russians, and anyone else, are even moderately clever, they will interfere in the 2020 elections in ways that appear to favor Democrats.

When that happens, and a Democrat wins, Spanky will refuse to accept the results, and we will have the ultimate shitshow on our hands.

He’ll accept them. No problem. His days as a useful idiot are numbered.

Of course they are. Nice work if you can get it. :headphones:

Yes and he can’t not accept the results ultimately and once the election results are certified he is out of there. He will be escorted out if necessary.

“You don’t really believe this. Do you believe this?” Trump said, scoffing at the report’s question.

Though the reasoning behind this statement is rather obvious, even if means (figurative) IC and executive branch employees are stacked up like cordwood, reporters need to stop asking if an area man gives a damn about his job.

Well, he can, I suppose. There’s a lot of stuff in the last two and a half years we didn’t think he could do, but he has.

That one could get messy, but I’m sure he’ll try.

And that escort out will be into a van that takes him to prison while the courts get ready.

Too busy analyzing Trump’s latest vomit to bother with that! Your Prime dollars at work!

trump and his enablers, including moscow mitch, trust that the interference will continue to go in their direction. Just wait until putin decides it would be much more fun to have his puppet lose in 2020, and then refuse to leave the WH. The Russians can sit back and watch as Cadet Bone Spurs further incites the lunatics that support him and they storm DC in an effort to keep him in power.

They have no Prime dollars from me - if the stories were behind the paywall, that’d be fine, but they aren’t. There’s no mention anywhere and some of this is pretty significant, compared to whether Trump questions Mueller. I mean, c’mon, that’s a given.

Eustace, I hate to break it too you, but that is so 2016. We’re far beyond that lukewarm level of snark now.
