Last time, nobody in the media believed him when he said he’d ban Muslims. Not CNN, not, I’m sure, @zenicetus, as that was silly, and surely he was just telling people what they wanted to hear.
Then, right out the gate, he tried to ban Muslims.
He said he’d pull out of NATO. Never quite did, but not because he didn’t want to, DoD just told him to fuck off. He did try, in the summer of 2020, to make us abandon Europe with an order to withdraw nearly all troops from Germany.

There’s a story on the front page of WaPo Style section about how REPORTERS are excited about the dynamic change in this election. As if THAT’S what important. It took the internet all weekend to SHAME the media into covering what TSF said about the need of fundies to vote now so they won’t have to vote later.

Respectfully, that is a silly interpretation. That assumes Trump would respect the two term limit enshrined in the constitution. If one plausible interpretation is that he was going to eliminate voting and install himself as permanent dictator, why would the counter to that be that he would respect term limits in the constitution? No. He meant what he said: elect me and there’s no more voting

And he highlighted another instance of Trump saying something similar, at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s “2024 Road to Majority” conference on June 22:
