Trump Preened As A Strongman For Presidents Day

I agree!!! !!!
It is absurd to let Russia out of the “dog house” diplomatically. Sanctions should stay. After all they started the war.

No they’re not. They are doing exactly what the Dotard wants him to do because lil’ Marco is a jellyfish.

TSF is not owned by Putin, he’s a complete fucking moron with absolutely no idea about anything, and is seeking vengeance on the whole country because they wouldn’t make up shit about Biden.

It’s Trumps Razor the most moronic reason is always correct.

I’ve been planning to visit my granddaughter in Portland, OR. It’s a long, expensive flight and now, what? This fat asshole has deprived us of feeling secure while traveling? He’s already made it traumatic to read the news every day. Well, these are elitist activities, so I sure am feeling owned.

Don’t know FDR, New Deal:

More than once, I have schooled someone who should know this but doesn’t have a clue. I went to a public school, not some private prep school, and we talked about this period in AmHist. Ditto for college AmHist.

Well Maybe the Saudis figured out that the main guarantor is lead by in imbecile, and although weak, he is easily manipulable and commands huge resources. Mohamed bin Salman Al Saud probably sees himself in an equivalent role as Musk for foreign policy.

I wonder how many CEOs and Hollywood directors and actors who use private jets even think about the importance of having a functioning and safe air traffic control system. They take this basic everyday stuff that government does for granted. Obama was misinterpreted by the media when he was quoting Elizabeth Warren when she said “you didn’t build it” referring specifically to all of the public goods that we all benefit from. The esteemed author Michael Lewis has a new book coming out about the importance of these basic everyday government functions and the invaluable civil servants who do these jobs, keep things running and efficient. It’s based upon his Washington Post series from last year. One profile
is of the safety analyst at the Bureau of mine safety who happens to be a former miner who developed methods to prevent mines from collapsing and killing miners. Because of folks like him mine safety has vastly improved while the death toll has declined to nil.

That struck me, too. Pretty painful, actually.

Four effing years is a long time to put up with a constant refrain of nonsense. Canada, Greenland, Panama, Taiwan, Ukraine are all in Trump’s sights for chaos and carnage. At least one of them is going down under the weight of the U.S. government’s backing of a harebrained Trump scheme. Not every bit of mud Trump throws against the wall is falling to the ground without leaving a mark.

Manipulatable? Sure. But the point being made was “What better way to show the weakness of the US”, and honestly, I don’t see where MBS wants the Houthis, the Ayatollah, or the UAE, to see us as ‘weak’.

And I sure as shit don’t see them coordinating w/Russia on that goal while Russia is supporting the UAE in Sudan against… the Saudis!

That future is moot, I think. It’s fair to start looking at humanity as cooked.

Next time I get any money I’m going to treat myself to a beautiful fresh seafood dinner, with wine shipped from France, and water shipped from Italy, lobster flown from Maine, cigar from Cuba, whiskey from Scotland, and enjoy myself atop a pile of reasons why we’re doomed.

Then I’m going to go home and wait for the salinity of the sea to be affected enough to kill all the fish, knowing that I got the last of the best of the worst of humanity’s mindless and self serving sophistications.

You may have a point there. So, one thing.

Well, who knows? Beyond closed doors they might have agreed to the most heinous carve up of Ukraine. But I get the distinct impression that the meeting was another staged event: “Look! Donny and Vlad, together again at long last!” as a general threat to Europe and rest of the world. “Look at the nukes!”

Complete dipshit.

  1. Military contractors - American companies - make most of the $200B, not the Ukrainians.
  2. No US servicemen have died in Ukraine. Just Russians and Ukrainians.
