Freaking media bookers live and die by their “gets”. There are people that discerning news people should avoid, but they don’t because they’re a “name”, they’re on other shows, they do things and make statements that garner hits and eyeballs and ratings. Should anyone have as a guest Nancy Mace, MTG, Lauren Boebert or any of dozens of other people in government or other jobs when their entire existence is in service of inflammatory statements, lying if their lips are moving? DO CNN or NBC or CBS viewers really need to know what Richard Grenell thinks about gay rights in Uganda? I have to dig real deep to discover anything honest or relevant being said by nearly anyyone in the MAGA cult. Yet they all get trotted out to spew bullshit on what are ostensibly mainstream news venues.
One day a major news outlet is going to bring on Nancy Mace to discuss the state of trans laws in the country. Her transphobia is renown. And Kaitlin Colins will sit there, exasperated that she can’t get Mace to have a sober, relevant discussion on the issue, instead having to deal with a hectoring, hyperbolic stream of lies and invective. I mean, WTF? Why go there?
Answer: $$$ and eyeballs.

Trump set up Lil’ Marco for humiliation. And either Rubio is to dumb to realize it or he completely lacks dignity and self esteem. He is completely irrelevant, foreign policy is being decided elsewhere without his input, and if he thinks the title enhances his resume he is mistaken. I would have already resigned if I was him.
