When your head is in the toilet, don’t blow bubbles.
It would be really interesting to know what the Russians found when they hacked the RNC server in 2016 and gave that info to trump.
That’s how it was here too. Each absentee ballot was processed before I got there to attach a number to the envelope to show that the ballot had been received and registered. The number was stapled to the envelope. When we were scanning them, the envelope was then separate from the ballot - no way to re-trace it after that.
Yeah once they are separated from the envelope, that’s all she wrote - no way to tell whose ballot that was.
Trump Lawyer Tries To Toss Out His Own Vote reads like a headline from the Onion.
In 2013 when the Roberts court rogue gutted the voting rights act pre-clearance it was viewed as an outlier from a conservative court though Roberts had a beef with the act since his days as a Reagan administration lawyer.
Having Republican-controlled state legislatures appointing pro-Trump electors to the electoral college in defiance of their state’s voters just pushes the Overton window even further to disregard democratic processes. What would be next for them? Declaring an entire states or regions votes as invalid? A South African type Group areas act?
Folks here have been saying something like that for over a week but the law suits keep coming. Whether sinister or stupid they haven’t given up.
Trump will never admit Biden won “fair and square”.
And he’ll never attend the Inauguration - which is fine with me.
My friend’s lawyer daughter in GA was part of the legal team - both Rs and Ds - on hand for the recount. Trump bullies were trying to intimidate the process. The R lawyers were more vocal in shutting them down.
I think you mean the DNC server which had files of voter data.
You err on the side of caution and throw out all the ballots that voted Biden.
When you file 35 (so far) losing election suits, sooner or later you’re going to end up sueing yourself.
They way they are going about it will just put them in the laughing stock of stupid lawyers who may get sanctioned or disbarred.
You can’t. And see, that’s why you have to throw them all out. Doesn’t matter how many votes get thrown out, as long as more of them are likely to be Democratic.
Just a little process note: today, again, the first word in the upper-left-hand corner of TPM’s front page is “T***p.”
I know how the crazy lures you in, but someone’s gotta stop carrying that man’s media manipulation water for him. (Notably, both the Post and the Times do NOT have that man’s name as the first, extra-high profile word (even though the Times’s first story has his name in the headline).
It may seem silly, but this kind of stuff does have an impact, I think.
Plus the Republican state legislatures have plenty of time to change their state voting laws. Is ALEC still around? I recall it was a National Republican think tank that was providing boiler plate templates for business and Republican friendly legislation to the states.
Elections are going to be much worse in 2 or 4 years. Recall Karl Rove saying the key to the “permanent Republican majority” was the state governments.
They’re going to get a lot better at this. Stay tuned.
Putting a new spin on “ineffective assistance of counsel.”
That’s debatable.
He won’t and I don’t give a shit either. He’d just try to upstage him anyway. He’ll have snuck out the back door by then and depends on how depressed he is but he might hold a rally or some shit at the same time as the inauguration. I bet he doesn’t get much of a crowd though.
Yes, but he is also requesting that they throw out his wife’s ballot.
I wonder if this could be grounds for divorce?
For I love my dear leader so much I am willing to fall on my sword to prove it. Also to own the libs.
