I would like to vote in person but I am disabled due to my spine issues. So early ballot is my option but i will not mail it. I will hand it to a human at our County Recorder’s office. I can’t manage standing in a line to vote.

I think it’s mostly because of immigration. White folks don’t like immigrants. This country is moving towards a white minority and Republicans are afraid of running out of white people. Same thing in Europe with Muslims moving in and people moving from the middle latitudes, northward.
It will get worse because of climate change and failed governments.

It’s worse than that. It was an actual phone interview. I can’t remember who it was with NBC or CBS. He said Trump Tower was now the largest building in New York. 
He also said he watched people jumping from the tower buildings out the window of his apartment. Trump tower was 4 miles away.
Laurence O’Donnell plays the interview occasionally on his show. I’m sure you can find a copy of it.

IMHO, the most likely of likely scenarios is that they simply won’t do the work at all. The plan is to create chaos, and then exploit it - why spend money you plan to rip off later?

Integral with every topic we might see posted here is a wonderful, long article in today’s The Guardian about slime mold. Though it has neither neurons nor a brain it feeds and adapts, apparently doing what we humans refer to as cogitating, remembering. Our categories, e.g., intelligence, thinking, remembering, appear inadequate to the processing occuring with slime mold. Or, as the article suggests, possibly we humans have issues with making ourselves the standard of behavior for life on the planet. Slime mold has been here far longer than we have been.
