The more likely scenario is that they’re stealing it from the USPS retirement funds. The USPS has money it’s just not legally allowed to do anything with it since they’ve been mandated to fully fund their retirement accounts

- The Retribution: Even before Hill Republicans last month sought a criminal investigation of Dr. Tony Fauci for taking the Fifth at a congressional hearing, the Trump DOJ had been conducting since last year a “sprawling and aggressive” probe of Fauci that has scrutinized at least eight scientists, the NYT reports: “Investigators have demanded phone, email, grant and payment records, as well as grand jury testimony by scientists.”
While this is vile in just about anyway I can look at it, I’m not so sure it’s ‘the retribution.’
It really looks a lot like the charges against David Hearn – scapegoating innocents to deflect responsibility for the regime’s failures.
People are punished just by having to defend themselves. It’s worse if they’re actually imprsoned. Charging and imprisoning innocent people to further its agenda is really what today’s MAGA GQP is willing to pursue.

Oh, and while I’m adjusting my tinfoil hat over here, I came up with something new to worry about. Last week it was the Iranians doing something major on 9/11. The new updated version is that Trump will do something major to overshadow the memorial and sooth his hurt feelings about not being allowed to give a speech. Nukes? Ground troops? Kharg island? I’m open to suggestions.

What they revealed was - nothing. Nobody failed the critical question on the polygraph and it isn’t even known if the law was followed (seriously?)
If a think tank was able to come up with the numbers without speaking to anyone. And if they could do it, so could Russia, China…and Iran.

The thing is, we already don’t know how monies are moved within this regime to pay for “the President’s priorities:”
- money moved from NIH to pay for the war in the Persian Gulf and
- Parks Dept. allocations moved to pay for the bunker/bawlroom are just two examples where we know the congressional allocations were treated like a slush fund.

This is also an issue of speed: the courts can’t move quickly enough to counter the mayhem and allow adequate repairs which means things ‘won’t work’ again and again in multiple venues; move fast and break things isn’t just a tactic, it’s a strategy.

The lower court has already blocked this Nazi bullshit and it will stay blocked unless the SCOTUS overturns it. Which could happen, but hasn’t yet.
Until it does, any USPS worker who refuses to deliver a ballot from a state election to a registered voter in that state is committing election fraud, punishable by fines and potential jail time. And that would be prosecuted by the state where it happened, nothing Trump can mess with or pardon.
