President Donald Trump on Tuesday called the House’s impeachment inquiry into his actions as president a “kangaroo court.” That, Trump said, justified the State Department’s move to block the ambassador to the European Union from testifying to Congress.
…but unfortunately he would be testifying before a totally compromised kangaroo court, where Republican’s rights have been taken away, and true facts are not allowed out for the public…
@thunderclapnewman, I think your cartoon of the plane and the twin towers needs to be here, just in case anyone missed it the first time.
Constitutional crisis, anyone?
It is beyond comprehension how this mental midget remains in the office of the President! If he truly believes Sondland would support his no collusion propaganda why would he hold him back from testifying?
It is clear, He is off his meds again. Seriously thou, this is a very dangerous situation. The leader of our country is bat shit crazy and the Republicans keep saying, “nothing out of the ordinary here.” It is as much a reflection on Republican office holders as it is on the occupant of the Oval Office.
Sondland was of course more than happy to take the easy out that the White House gave him, because he is deep in this and I’m sure the evidence backs this up. It will be interesting to see if Taylor chooses to go ahead and testify when he inevitably gets called on to do so.
I guess what’s the point on going to testify, if you will have to plead the fifth? This guy was involved not only in political dirty tricks but on shady business deals too. People never learn don’t shit in the place you eat!
What’s the penalty for not testifying? There needs to be an immediate downside.
Sure noncompliance adds to the obstruction charge, but unless these bastards are collected at their homes or offices and taken in cuffs, why not obstruct?
