Lankford responds to Musk’s “absurd” border bill claim: Focus on “the 2 million Teslas currently being recalled.” (msn.com)
“The long-term goal of the so-called ‘Border Security’ bill is enabling illegals to vote! It will do the total opposite of securing the border,” Musk tweeted.
“Now, I know that Elon Musk is not an expert on illegal immigration or the border, but he has a huge megaphone,” CNN’s Jake Tapper said to Lankford. “Explain what he’s talking about here. Is he wrong?”
Lankford replied that Musk should focus on “the two million Teslas that are currently being recalled.”
“No, it’s not focused on trying to be able to get more illegals to vote — that’s absurd,” Lankford continued. “It is against the law for anyone that is not a citizen the United States to be able to vote in the United States in any federal election — that remains so. Obviously, we’re not dealing with that.”

Anchor Neil Cavuto said, “You know, Donald Trump has famously said that Republicans should be ashamed of themselves. We’re going to have Senator Lankford with us shortly, who’s amazed at the response it’s getting and wondering if maybe that could be because Republicans, might feel that they’re in a better position not to have something like this, that it could help Joe Biden. It wouldn’t help them. How are you on this?”

Ukraine-Border Package Deal Collapses
Don’t assume that abandoning Ukraine is solely because the GOP is beholden to Trump, or that it is subsumed by gamesmanship over the border issue. Many Republicans, and certainly those Republicans who de facto control the House, want Ukraine to lose.
The GOP is just one part of the international fascist movement headed by Putin. People like Vance and Hawley regard Putin the same way as communist party functionaries in various countries regarded Stalin. And Trump may run the show in the GOP, but it has been obvious for years that he is subordinate to Putin in the same way Gus Hall was subordinate to Krushchev or Brezhnev.

The victim fell for a honey trap that Batfart and Rotten set up in Tinder. When the victim thought he was going on a date with a Tinder match instead he gets confronted by Batfart and Rotten who accuse him of being a child molester. Of course the Dimwitted Duo had cameras going and they posted an edited video on their webpage which went viral.

Saw Morning Joe for a few minutes at the airport. Volume was fairly loud on the teevee, and were they ever ripping the republicans to shreds. Quite enjoyable.

I agree with you.
We tend to believe what someone says at face value because most people most of the time are telling the truth, or at least their version of the truth. That is not Donald Trump, or even most Republicans at this point.
So, when Donald Trump says he wants the border deal dead so he can run on it, I am not so sure that is right. If it is not draconian enough for him, he could always run on that point. That is, they could literally have their cake and eat it too, cow the Democrats to a draconian deal, and demand an even greater deal down the line. It is what they have done so many times before to move this country rightward.
Can we just openly call Donald Trump a Putin asset now?
