Ex-President Donald Trump said shortly after midnight on Friday that he welcomes the Justice Department’s move to release the search warrant the FBI used in its raid on his Mar-a-Lago resort earlier this week.
Same could be said about DJT:

Reporting on this blather should focus on the fact Trump’s lying ( as he always does ). He does NOT want those document out but must feed his base lies and put on a tough guy act. The documents will out sooner or later and when that happens Trump will condemn the leak.

Donnie has demanded its release but will block it in court. It’s all about perception on social media for him.
Like @dicktater said last night, he just wants to look like he’s in control after a Very Bad No Good Day in which Garland very publicly proved who’s got the power now.
The Magistrate is very likely going to unseal the warrant and receipt regardless of whether Donnie opposes it or not.
“The public’s clear and powerful interest in understanding what occurred under these circumstances weighs heavily in favor of unsealing,” the DOJ wrote in the filing.
I think Garland was trolling with that.

Imagine the NSA or CIA discovered these exact documents transmitted to and in the hands of a foreign power. Saudi’s? Russia? Turks & Caicos?
DJT will still be supported by his MAGATS.
In my opinion that is a light sentence for a cop participating in a violent coup attempt.
If it’s true that Trump had concealed nuclear documents, Republicans will have to start spinning faster than a new Saudi centrifuge.
Why doesn’t Trump release the copy of the warrant and the inventory list of seized items himself? Because he is counting on his numbskull supporters to not know that he can release the documents himself. That way he can lie that the Biden administration is doing something bad and these numbskulls will believe him.
