President Donald Trump, in a last ditch effort to throw just about anything at the wall and hope it sticks amid dwindling election prospects in the final weeks before the election, has shamelessly made more than 50 false or misleading claims a day.
50 lies per day and he and his syncopates want us to believe whatever they say. I’m naive but not that naive.

I remember when McDonalds went from saying on their signs “X number of billions served” to simply “Billions and billions served.” I think we’re at that point. Not just with losing count but that Trump has probably told literally uncounted billions of lies by now.
“Trump Lies” is the most Captain Obvious headline ever.
But it’s like if your town is flooded and then you get another ten inches of rain. Everyone knows it’s happening and what it means, but it’s still a thing you notice and talk about. Trump is trying to alter a reality that isn’t favorable to him, and lying is how he tries to do that.
Trump’s Twitter feed has been especially active lately, as he lashes out at political foes and tries to boost his electoral prospects.
Not only is it true that if his lips are moving he’s lying, it is also so that if his thumbs are moving he’s lying.

He knows he has created a huge mess, and he has been given, repeatedly, good advice on how to remediate the situation. But he won’t actually do anything, except lie about it. This is in spite of the fact that he will lose the election because of his performance, and suffer the consequences of that. Yet he continues to do nothing.
The only conclusion I can reach, based on the facts in evidence, is that he wants to burn the country down.
He’s obviously trying to get to Carnegie Hall. Lying is trumpp’s milieu, his dirt raisin.
eta; he’s freaking the feck out because he’s experiencing losing in the most dramatic way he’s ever experienced in his life. He desperately doesn’t want to lose at anything. And this loss will make him the biggest loser ever in the nether regions of his hackneyed fragile ego.
People want to hear what they want to hear, even if it’s lies. After 4 years of this bullshitter, half the voters want more of the same. I fear it will never change.
