If Corristine hadn’t been assaulted, something else happening to provide a pretext for Donnie’s taking over DC’s police and calling out the National Guard is the odds on favorite.

This is Trump following his same MO. He is attempting (and succeeding) to change the public narrative from the Epstein fiasco to something (anything) else. Big Balls had it coming, but it is pretty clear the 15 year olds who assaulted him and tried to hijack his ride had no idea who he was. Further, 15 year old criminals don’t pay much attention to the news. Trump is not going to deter this crime or anything like it, and these juveniles will likely not be prosecuted as adults.
This is all more theater to distract us from the Trump Administrations multiple failures in governance and his past association with sexual predators Epstein and Maxwell. That is all.

Interesting he’s doing this in August when nobody other than tourists are in Washington. I bet he’ll use videos of peace and calm to declare victory over the criminal class in September while all the NG folks could have enjoyed their vacations or gone to their normal jobs instead of sweating to death on the streets of DC.
