This is going to do wonders for workforce moral, force federal officers and troops to stand outside, in DC, in August. I promise that they’re not going to be enjoying themselves.
Not to mention that it’s a tourist town, they run roughshod over regular bystanders, they’re just as likely to hit a Trump voter as they are to “own a lib”.

Seems to me it won’t be too long before he’ll be needing not only to distract voters from Epstein but to distract them from the Trump economy. … And probably by that time the “sic armed people on blue cities” gambit will have become pretty ho-hum to easily bored 'Murcans. . Wonder what alternate measures he’ll turn to at that point.

The “something else happening” is the Epstein story. My kids and grandkids live in DC and I work there. There is no crime spree other than at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I guess no one told him that National Guard soldiers are weekend warriors who have jobs and also have no training in civilian law enforcement. God forbid someone get shot.
