Trump Got Another Extension To File Annual Financial Disclosure | Talking Points Memo

. . . he doesn’t give a shit.

Sadly true. I was talking to a cult member this week, trying to debate the success (or lack thereof) of the incumbent. She touted “his wall” as a major achievement.
But he hasn’t built that wall.
Oh, yes he has!
Um, no, he has built exactly three miles of new wall along the US/Mexico border.
Oh, no, he has built the wall!
Husband and fellow cult member chimes in:
How do you know he hasn’t built it? Have you been to the border?

They are using their own “truth”, their own set of “facts” and simply deny any reality that contradicts their fantasy.

That much is certain. It’s also likely that you’re correct about Vance getting them. But at this point vote him out in 4 mo. and prosecute later.

As you state, Congress may look at them. That’s not publication or public disclosure.

I have a feeling that the WH will look like the Augean stables when he’s done with it. Biden will have to divert the Potomac to clean it out.

I don’t see why he has to file one at all. After all, he’s the president and the president isn’t subject to the law. The Justice Department says so.

Oh, and Socrates was a schmuck

I keep asking how much of Daddy’s money did Donald get opposed to how much his siblings got? When Fred was trying to bail out Donnie’s casinos did he also deposit/give his other children an equal amount? My answer would be no.

“Trump had requested another extension… because the president had ‘been focused on addressing the coronavirus crisis.’”

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

HA.

Trump has made 20 thousand false claims to date (that have been recorded, we know there are thousands more). Therefore, I would not expect an honest statement…or if it served his purposes…any statement. He has repeated the ‘audit’ constraint on numerous occasions.

You had me after likely ass kicking

ETA: this really helps to explain the peril facing even moderate GOOPers:

Why? According to one: “You have 25% of the state is rural and Trump gets like Saddam Hussein level numbers here. 87% in 25% of the state… Cornyn gets 69. And so Cornyn can’t find a place to break from because he could really put that in jeopardy.”

And thus the polarizing nature of Trump makes it impossible for Cornyn to make a move that helps him in the swingy suburbs without risking the floor falling out from under him in West Texas.

This same calculus pervades no matter the race, no matter the district, no matter the geography: The operatives insist that the pro-Trump zealotry the president’s supporters demand makes it far more difficult for candidates to win over anyone else.

A consultant who advises a challenger in a swing house seat that Hillary Clinton carried, for example, indicated that they thought they had less ability to distance from Trump than those who are in safer, more MAGAfied districts. “No dissent is tolerated [with the base],” and “If my candidate is going to win, it’s going to be by 1 or 2 percent they can’t afford to lose any votes [on the pro-Trump flank].”

Well Trump and his toadies just keep on giving them material. I never knew how giving Republicans could be.

Taking trump to task on Vindman. Awesome!

No, he has filed those in the past. Which is why the question of the “free legal services” from Rudy was mentioned.
It’s also why I know that Trump gets a yearly pension from the Screen Actors Guild.
But just like Jared’s security clearance form they always seem to need revising.

One of the early acts of the Biden Admin’s SecDef should be to recall Lt Col Vindman from retirement with a promotion to Colonel.
