Easier just to skip a step, Don’t let GOP fuck it up to begin with and DEMS won’t have to fix it
Hannity Demands Arizona Democrats ‘Get Rid Of’ Abortion Ban (mediaite.com)
Fox News host Sean Hannity called on Arizona Democrats to nix an abortion ban that was reinstated by the state Supreme Court this week.

Trump opposes the law and this ruling… And you know what? Arizona’s governor is a Democrat. The state’s attorney general is a Democrat. The state legislature is almost evenly divided. If Democrats– you want to get rid of the law, well, you have a chance right now to get rid of it. And I would advise you, get rid of it!

Trump is wrong: abortion opponents are looking for a national leader | Fox News

The national conversation must continue. The geography of where you live shouldn’t determine whether you live

Since the 2022 midterms, however, a narrative has taken hold that the life issue costs Republicans elections and is better left to the states, anyway – a narrative that threatens this great accomplishment. With policy platforms suddenly having very real consequences, many candidates became fearful, listened to consultants and opted for the “ostrich strategy” of burying their heads in the sand. These candidates fared badly. The left also struck back and found success in spending massive sums of money to rewrite the constitutions in pro-life states, leaving pro-life advocates outgunned on resources.

Now, in the midst of the 2024 campaign, President Trump’s long-awaited announcement of his stance tragically pigeonholes abortion as a matter of states’ rights. It has met with disappointment from the pro-life community and the millions of Americans who are looking for a national leader who can build consensus and stand up to the pro-abortion extremism of Joe Biden and congressional Democrats.

GQP is right. Barack is running the show instead of Joe. Just look at this picture from yesterday of the Biden’s meeting w/ Japanese Prime Minister Kishida and his wife. Obama standing in the background. :sunglasses:

I wish we could extend the Electoral College to the state level. Over the last one hundreds years, the population has moved into major metropolitan areas leaving rural counties very little to no voice. Just look at how many states are won by Democrats by succeeding in just 2 or 3 counties.

Totally agree. States are being controlled by capitol cities, rest of the states have no voice.

An electoral college for each state should be a reality to fairly represent values of all in state.

I agree. Of course, that would be up to each state to choose and implement.

And the same states where a liberal population concentration (aka “large cities”) effectively disenfranchises the remaining 90% of the state counties, will continue to have the same issue: those cities will not give up their power to install an electoral-type system.

The EC exists because the Founding Fathers feared mob rule and knew that cities would determine every election without it. They did not want that. What works in the city doesn’t work in rural areas, but the rural areas need a voice as well as it’s their country too. The EC gives them a voice.

Maybe Hannity should had a convo, while speaking in tongues, to the AZ Republicans that are high on their own farts?

It was the second consecutive year that Weisselberg was given a five-month Rikers sentence. The previous sentence was for tax fraud for his role in the Trump Org.
In each instance, he’ll end up serving about 100 days behind bars.

Which months are 20 days long?
Or does he only serve time during regular banking days/hours?

“Almost evenly divided” is doing a lot of work here.
