Good grief. I just read this from the NPR article:
Tito Anchondo says his family has always been Republican conservatives. “My brother was very supportive of Trump,” he said, adding that he would like to sit down with the president and tell him about their pain.
“I want to see his reaction in person,” he said. “I want to see if he’s genuine and see if my political views are right or wrong. And see if he feels maybe some kind of remorse for statements that he’s made. I just want to have a human-to-human talk with him and see how he feels.”
Human-to-human talk?! Someone clue this guy in, please. (edit again) That’s the brother next to Trump with a nice smile on his face. Nope, don’t understand them at all.

Thumbs up generally means feeling good, everything’s great, full steam ahead, ain’t life wonderful. That seems slightly inappropriate, given the way he got there up until that moment.

I’ll tell you though, look at how much denial that uncle had to do to take that child to that hospital and let it be used as a prop. And yet he says he wants to talk to Trump, sound out his feelings, but he’s standing there grinning himself, it’s a form of social madness and irrationality. Generally when people do things I think are crazy I can follow the thread of their rationale, not agreeing of course but I can figure it out. This, no.
