Trump is now generating new interest in a book that would otherwise have been mostly forgotten.
Bolton will be remembered as a hack who couldn’t bring himself to AT LEAST do interviews during the impeachment proceedings if weren’t going to be called as a Senate witness. Now Donnie will ensure more books sales with his lame attempt to quash the book.
Again with the SUING??? WTF? This man is POTUS. Why does he hate AMERICA so much?

Bolton at this point should just go on CNN and drop a few bombshells without giving away the farm, because he’ll still want to sell the book if it ever gets out of limbo. Dare Donnie to sue him for that appearance.
Plus, as close as it got to publication, there would have been hundreds of advance copies out there, even if not the total 100% final product.

Yeah and truly Trump has once again fulfilled Trump’s Razor - he’s done the dumbest thing he could do. Everyone pretty much agreed Bolton blew it by refusing to testify, and believed he did it in a calculation that said he’d sell more books if he didn’t. He was wrong.
But Trump is very busy giving him a big helping hand with PR. And yes advance copies will go out and yes things will leak.
That’s been the pattern so far with these books.
Boring. Since there is no bottom, and Trump only goes lower with each passing day, I’m afraid my appetite for scandal and outrage far surpasses anything Trump might have done a year ago. I’m sorry, but this just doesn’t cut it for me. There are bound to be a dozen things Trump will do in the coming week alone that would make the exciting news Bolton thinks he has to reveal about as enticing as year-old banana bread.
I doubt he can keep it tied up that long. I do think the good parts will leak anyway, if he manages to keep it from coming out that long.
Plus it always fuels all kinds of speculation about what he doesn’t want known.
All the juicy parts will be out before the book is released. We don’t need to buy it.
Maybe he thinks that people will be distracted from the book that his niece is about to release.
