President Donald Trump had a conniption on Wednesday morning upon learning that Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson had begun sending all registered voters applications in the swing state that would allow them to vote in the November elections by mail.
Means we must be doing something right. WI’s elections board will be voting on the same thing today… fingers crossed for more rage tweets in the future!
Voting procedures are controlled by the states, and within them, by the county clerks. Outside of a few federal guidelines aimed at making sure all eligible voters can vote, the federal government has no say. The president, even less.
Moreover, when it comes to election fraud and “vote harvesting”, Republicans have always taken the lead in recent times.
No news here. His manbaby tantrum was predictable as the sun coming up in the morning. And it makes me happy that his blood pressure is elevating with each mailed ballot.
Meanwhile in KY, the governor is now allowing us to vote by mail in the primary. There’s actually a line on the ballot request form that says “Covid-19” as the reason. I’m fairly certain that after the primary he’ll announce we can vote absentee in the general. I’m actually looking forward to that fool picking a fight with our Andy thus putting Turtle in the middle. Come at us, bro.
Hmmm. A swing State, and now you are going to get your opponents more juiced up to vote because you are going to, or threatening to, take away their Federal funding.
Don’t forget: Trump toadies are now pretty much in control of the USPS. How long before mail carriers are ordered (on pain of termination) to not deliver certain types of mail?
