President Donald Trump on Wednesday night defended his campaign raising less cash in August than Democratic rival Joe Biden, who raked in a record-breaking $364 million last month, on Wednesday night by claiming he didn’t want help from big donors.
“Considering” spending his own money is meant to assure big donors they can go ahead on invest. He won’t put a single penny of his own money into the pot. Besides, right now, the ones with liquid cash are Ivanka and Jared. They’ve kept their eyes on the money prize.
Exactly. I think the handwriting has been on the wall now for a while that the “big money” on the Rethugs side sees the regime as a losing proposition. Why throw any money after bad returns?
OT: it occurred to me during my usual insomnia last night that during the time Trump told Bob Woodward the virus was more serious and he took action, he had his conversation with Jared about the virus only hitting the blue cities. I hope somebody in Biden‘s campaign connects those dots.
It would shock me if Joe Fucking Lieberman was able to win over a single fucking mythical “Undecided” voter to Susan Fucking Collins. Her campaign bringing in this scumbag is itself confirmation that she (and her handlers) have been in the job too long.
Yeah, I saw this yesterday and didn’t get it at all.
Lieberscum has NO pull whatsoever among Dems anymore and I can only see a small amount of Rethugs being pulled into his whole con game of “I’m an Indie supporting Collins.” Whoever he can pull to Collins’ side was most likely already going to vote for her. This just strikes me as a lose-lose proposition.
ETA: Sorry @dr_coyote, I was typing as you were posting.
