And here we go. 2 minutes and 53 seconds cut from the videos. No need to cut anything at all if there’s nothing to see.

That it’s politically motivated is obvious, but did Adam Schiff commit mortgage fraud?

Nobody noticed this before now?

For nearly a decade, Microsoft has used engineers in China to help maintain highly sensitive Defense Department computer systems. ProPublica’s investigation reveals how a model that relies on “digital escorts” to oversee foreign tech support could leave some of the nation’s most sensitive data vulnerable to hacking from its leading cyber adversary.

Trump escalates revenge campaign with new attacks on Schiff

TRUMP -

“Adam Schiff said that his primary residence was in MARYLAND to get a cheaper mortgage and rip off America, when he must LIVE in CALIFORNIA because he was a Congressman from CALIFORNIA,” the president wrote. “Mortgage Fraud is very serious, and CROOKED Adam Schiff (now a Senator) needs to be brought to justice.”

SCHIFF -

  • “This is just Donald Trump’s latest attempt at political retaliation against his perceived enemies,” the senator wrote. “And much as Trump may hope, this smear will not distract from his Epstein files problem,” referring to the administration’s handling of the conspiracy theories around Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged "client list."
  • A spokesperson for Schiff said the senator maintained a home in Maryland for easy access to Washington, calling it “routine for a member of Congress representing a district thousands of miles away.”
  • “The lenders who provided the mortgages for both homes were well aware of then-Representative Schiff’s Congressional service and of his intended year-round use of both homes, neither of which were vacation homes,” the spokesperson added. “He has always been completely transparent about this.”

“We’re on one Team, MAGA,” Donald Trump wrote on TruthSocial over the weekend, “and I don’t like what’s happening.”

“We have a PERFECT Administration,” he added, “THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein. For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again.”

DOJ hits states with broad requests for voter rolls, election data

Election clerks in both parties, already facing harassment and lawsuits over Trump’s false 2020 election claims, worry about efforts to examine voting machines.

I recall one of our commenters recently issuing an edict that no one commenting on TPM was allowed to speculate about cancelled elections in 2026 (or he would hold his breath or something).

Well, rigged elections are no different from cancelled elections. Not talking about something won’t necessarily prevent it from happening. This is clearly a regime that will institute totalitarian rule comparable to North Korea if it can:

Trump Retribution: As Corrupt As It Gets

I’m hoping it won’t be too late to add some photos to this poster:

If he’s so worried about Schiff, maybe someone should look into Tuberville. Who has apparently doesn’t live in Alabama at all.

I’ll be happy to call Gutfeld a “Nazi.” It’s nothing I would be proud of being called.

“the Trump administration has orchestrated things (legally, I think)”

Stop the presses!

Wow, these mooks are really tactically focused with no sense of strategy or long term consequences. "Whatever weapon we can grab now, fuck tomorrow.’ Does it even occur to Trump and most of his cohort, how fatal a forensic examination of their financial records would be?

Oh. That answers the charge.

They did this in 2017 as well

On Wednesday, June 28, Donald Trump’s Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity sent letters to all 50 secretaries of state requesting voter names, addresses, dates of birth, party affiliations, voting histories back to 2006, active or inactive status, the last four digits of Social Security numbers, felony convictions and military status.

And how all states did/did not comply

Trump doubles down on moving on from the Epstein files, trashes his own supporters for buying into the conspiracies that helped get him elected. NYT Liveblog:

In a blistering social media post Wednesday morning, President Trump took aim at his supporters who are upset with the administration’s handling of files related to the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender whose connections to wealthy figures have been a subject of intense interest among vocal portions of his base. Trump distanced himself from those who have criticized him, calling them “PAST supporters” who had “bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker.”

Trump also claimed that outrage over the Justice Department’s decision to not release additional information and close the investigation was just the latest “scam” cooked up by Democrats. “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work,” he wrote, “don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!”

Not sure Tuberville was involved in mortgage fraud. But remember that in Trump’s accusation he claimed thatSchiff was involved in “possible” mortgage fraud, possible does some heavy lifting here. And keep in mind Trump’s pattern, of which Biden-Ukraine was a prime example. The whole point is to get something out there for the press to chew up. Validity is irrelevant.

Zelinsky wouldn’t play ball, but Malificent Bondi will.
