Thanks for your thoughts for my pup. She is in a vet specialty hospital. As of last night there was modest improvement. I will know later today how she is doing. For me its moment to moment one thing at a time. We must see more improvement and also stability in her medical readings before she can come home. I am skilled at medications by variius routes so that part can be done at home. I really want her home. This has been a horrible and expensive week.

It’s going to get warm wearing a mask over their pointy hoods.

IMHO a Trump rally in southern, seacoast NH is a huge gamble. We’re pretty blueish purple and fairly sparsely populated. What makes him think he can draw a decent crowd here if he can’t fill a 19,000-seat stadium in deep-red Tulsa, OK? I wouldn’t count on the more Republican Boston ex-urbs. Those people are at least sane.

I wouldn’t think a lot of the Boston ex-urb Republicans would want to go up to Portsmouth airport for a rally. And his people can’t be expecting a big MAGA crowd from that part of Maine, either, which is closer.

Being outdoors (why at an effin’ airport?), it’s easier to make inflated claims of crowd size. It’s not like you have empty seats to count or fire marshalls making statements.

Good news -they’re providing masks for all. Bad news - they’re all going to be zip-tied together.

Yep, Trump is attacking his enemy’s, The American people because polling is showing they don’t like him.

Even more to the point, every jurisdiction I know of has a minimal dress code for restaurants: “No shoes, No shirt, No service.” (I’m told that this holds even at clothing-optional resorts.) If the government can order me to wear a shirt in a restaurant, how can it not have the power to order me to wear a mask at public gatherings?

This is the biggest, most pathetic failure in world history - the French insta-surrender in WW2 and Constantinople falling because someone left a gate open are triumphs of human endeavor by comparison:

And we’re nowhere near done getting to shithole country status, either…

Agreed. Trump will take every opportunity to preen and feel the adulation of his crowd, but will never put himself at risk for any reason. With Trump, cowardice may be the only thing that motivates him more than his vanity.

“There will be ample access to hand sanitizer and all attendees will be provided a face mask that they are strongly encouraged to wear,” the campaign stated in its announcement.

“And even more important, we have strengthened the language of the NDAs which all rally attendees are required to sign, providing even greater indemnification of the President and his campaign from any claims of illness.”

Well yeah, we led on that, in that our crooks caused it, then got bailed out by taxpayers while totally screwing countless homeowners in the process (check out the book Homewreckers). I’m not sure how widespread that admiration was that you speak of so glibly. We screwed the world on that one, on this one we’re mainly screwing ourselves.

N.H. has a population of 1.35 million

California has a population of 40 million
Number of state legislators - 120

The Live free or Die state seems to need a huge state legislature

Interesting. Doesn’t look like they have been available for very long…as least by the dates of the “reviews”

Far as I am aware she is improving…slowly. She’s at a veterinary specialty hospital so my pup is getting good care. Probably better than many of us could get these days.
Here she is in better days…
