(AP) — Authorities searched Sunday for a gunman who shot and wounded two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies who were sitting in their squad car — an apparent ambush that drew an angry response from the president and sparked an anti-police protest outside the hospital where the deputies were being treated.
Cops shoot a person in cold blood, Trump praises them and says it’s justified.
Someone shoots at a cop, he’s all over it as to what a horror it is.
Not much of an All Lives Matter person, clearly only Blue Lives Matter.
Biden delivers a thoughtful and Presidential statement about this and talks about justice. Trump screams for vengeance/revenge. There could not be a starker difference in the two candidates for POTUS.
If this turns out to be a Boogaloo attack, it will go down the Republican Memory Hole faster than you can say “Jones, Aaronson, and Rutherford.” If it turns out to be a gang-banger, the Crips will turn into Antifa.

If there really were any assholes outside the hospital shouting that the police officers should die, they also need to be fingered. That may be free speech, but it’s also something Biden needs to quash. Any “allies” who think that’s acceptable discourse should be given no quarter.
And owing to the electoral college, the minority viewpoint may prevail. SMH.

The shooter appears to be either very short or a kid judging by his height alongside the police cruiser.
That police cruiser is probably bigger than it looks, so the guy (assuming it’s a guy) probably isn’t that short. Ever since “cars” have been gradually replaced by compact SUVs, the visual scale of things has been different than what we’re used to.
Just read the video was taken with a fisheye lens. so the height and weight could be distorted. But you’d expect the car to be similarly distorted, so this still seems strange.
The Ford Police Interceptor SUV (By far the most common Police SUV Cruiser) is 5ft 9 in high. So the shooter could be average to just under average height. Maybe five ft six or seven inches.
Is that this model? Found it on the LAPD Sherriff’s site. Looks like the one in the surveillance camera photo.
OK, that thing looks like it’d sit pretty high, so they could go off the road if necessary.

The police shouldn’t have been sending incendiary texts like that, alleging stuff like that. Enough to ask people to not block the ER entrance, no need to be picking the sides they clearly have chosen.
