Trump Attorney, Former OAN Host Christina Bobb In Spotlight Over Mar-a-Lago Trouble

This reporting would ALMOST lead the reader to think some sort of crime had been committed. Almost. Can’t really be sure.

The people that work for Trump are just as arrogant, stupid and obtuse as he is. It might not be possible to convince her she’s in any legal peril.

Another 800 pound elephant - did Ms. Bobb have the necessary Clearance to be the Custodian, or even view these documents? For the level of Clearance required for access to these documents - it probably takes over a year plus various Lifestyle Polygraph tests. As of April 2022, it was taking 155 days to obtain a DoD/Industry Top Secret security clearance and 117 days to obtain a DoD/Industry Secret security clearance.

Should be clarified - the DOJ doesn’t need anyone to flip to prove this case.

I’m sure there are other investigations where Bobb’s cooperation would be helpful.

I believe she was once employed by one of San Diego’s most prestigious law firms.

I only dimly remember that one, but wasn’t it an unauthorized leak of information?

Nobody but Meadow’s wife has seen him for a couple of months now. What’s up with that do you suppose?

Trump is incapable of any complicated strategy. He just uses the same tricks as he always has: deny, misdirect, stall, make outrageous claims, throw others under the bus, and play the victim.

They’re all going to hang on the bullshit defense that the dotard declassified all the docs but incompetent servants didn’t remove the labels.

The affidavit woridng is more nuanced and does not say this:

attorneys conducted a “diligent search” for records”

You’d have to be insane to hire the epically incompetent lawyers that Trump has. … Oh, wait …

Convicted of one count of obstruction of justice, two counts of perjury, and one count of making false statements, WRT the outing of Valerie Plame.

ANY crime is mundane, if allegedly committed by a Republican. Exciting, important crimes are committed by Democrats, even when they appear to have done nothing at all wrong, simply being a Democrat is sufficient.

Does this bimbo actually have mental states?

It’s technically not perjury because it wasn’t a sworn statement. It’s making a false statement to the investigators, which is a felony if the statement is “material” and the false statement was made “knowingly and willingly.”

Boob’s got some buit-in deniability on her certification, which is that she made it on the basis of “the information that has been provided to me,” which is a dodge so obvious to anybody who knows anything about how these things are supposed to be done that it may as well been flashing red neon. So she can defend herself by saying someone else did the search and she was just relaying what they told her.

Her problem comes if she knew there were still documents marked as classified, which she undoubtedly did. She certified that “Any and all responsive documents accompany this certification.” “Responsive” means requested in the subpoena, which asked for everything marked as classified. So it appears to me that they were trying to play games with Trump’s magical powers of instant declassification, and she got caught up lying that there wasn’t anything still marked as classified. And as Trump’s “custodian of records,” she really can’t say she didn’t know.

Lawyer up, Ms. Boob.

Christina Bobb should follow in the tradition of the NYC mob and have a lawyer paid for by Skanky, the Family and the Organization. That will be win-win.

Like maybe getting caught in a Hoboken brothel? Not even a Pennsylvania brothel.
