Trump Attorney, Former OAN Host Christina Bobb In Spotlight Over Mar-a-Lago Trouble

For years, attorneys for former President Donald Trump have come and gone.

Some, like Michael Cohen, took a plea deal — trading three years behind bars for a new career as a minor anti-Trump media figure. Rudy Giuliani endured, forced to fend off an SDNY criminal probe, multiple defamation suits, and the annihilation of whatever dignity he had remaining.

I just want all of those who sold their souls to their Orange Emperor to be disbarred and jailed. Ms Boob is moving up to the top of the list behind Rutabaga, Powell, Eastman and a dozen others.

Do you think that this particular fool might understand that she was set up by the boy lawyers to sign the document and take the fall. All the boys surrounding Donnie lie, cheat and steal, and will always let someone else hold the bag…better still if it is some dumb, gullible woman.

I still think Bobb - who is remembered from her time in the White House as"too forking stupid to do more than operate the copier, and that was problematic" - should follow the advice to resign and get herself the best defense attorney she can. Hopefully one who didn’t get their degree from a box of Wheaties like she did.

Did she get her obligatory hat?

Based on past experience, she’s got nothing to worry about from DOJ. We’ll see.

It’s one thing for a lawyer to sign a certification, but she signed as Trump’s records custodian, who would be the best person to know what documentary records Trump maintained. I can’t imagine that Trump has a records custodian.

That’s not going to end well for her.

“Bobb is Trump’s official ‘custodian of records’ — the person who signed off on a critical statement saying that there were no more documents marked classified at Mar-a-Lago, which turned out to be false.”

Somebody’s going to jail.

“The government also developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation,” the filing reads.

It’s not clear who moved the records in question.

It’s well past time to roll that big beautiful bean footage. Do we know when the it was that the DOJ learned there was surveillance footage?

I think the opposite.

The DOJ is likely looking for one (or more) people to flip on TFG. Since they got her dead to rights on perjury (and possibly worse crimes), she’s a prime candidate.

Per the filings, Bobb may have been relying on Corcoran to conduct the search,…

Does signing a legal document as the official representative not matter at all? Bobb can just be like, I just signed it because Corcoran told me it was all good. And Corcoran can say, I can’t be held responsible because I didn’t sign it. WTF. She signed it, Trump put her in that position, they both should be equally accountable.

Trump hired Bobb for her looks not for her brain.

You’re inferring the DOJ as led by Garland is asleep at the wheel, if so, you’re wrong.

Claiming that you have poor reading comprehension skills is not what I would call a winning defense, especially if you are an attorney.

What people don’t understand is that Trump is actually way ahead of us all. He’s playing nine dimensional chess while the DOJ is playing checkers. His strategy is absolutely brilliant: After having some of history’s most epically incompetent lawyers defend him, he’ll file for a mistrial due to not having access to an appropriate defense.

You see? He couldn’t possibly fail with a strategy like that, could he.

Unlike Rutabaga or Powell or Eastman, she’s young enough that being stripped of her law license would hurt.

The Bobb certification’s false factual statements (about the documents and the search) were given with this qualification:

Based upon the information that has been provided to me, I am authorized to certify, on behalf of the Office of Donald J. Trump, the following:

I think she may be able to avoid prosecution for knowingly and willfully making false statements (18 USC 1001) if she has some plausible explanation about the “information that has been provided.”

But will she step up and offer that information? Or will she wrap herself in the Trump flag and believe herself invulnerable (until it’s too late?)

And her sycophancy. Remember she used to be at OAN…
