What Donald got away with in private business he can’t get away with in government legal jeopardy; the DOJ and FBI are not the same as a community lawyer hired by an unpaid contractor, or even a high priced lawyer in the employ of another mogul-- those kinds of lawyers can agree to deals, I don’t see any kind of “deal” the supposed author of “Art of the Deal” can make here.

Either way, she is either going to be a fact witness or the indictee. Her best bet is for her to have sufficient info on a big enough fish to mitigate her punishment. Her ability to practice law after this fiasco is probably over. I hope her student loans are all paid off for that now useless education.

Not if she flips on Trump. Otherwise she is going away for a long time. Someone should tell her that obstruction carries a 20 year sentence. She is young, she needs to think of how much of her life she will miss.

I don’t know much about Ms. Bobb but she could certainly be dumb enough to have blundered into this mess or been suckered into taking the fall. In this den of thieves you’d be surprised if they didn’t have patsies to exploit that way. I remember when I was a young kid seeing noir films on TV late at night. Everyone in it would end up dead or broken somehow, and it made me resolve to lead a good and decent life and never get mixed up with people like that. This has that same quality; it’s a cautionary tale that really happened.

Clearly you don’t understand nine dimensional chess on the level that Trump does. Eating and flushing the pieces is part of the strategy. That, and scattering classified documents all over a public place, allowing spies and other foreign nationals access to them, deliberately posting letters that include absolutely damning evidence against him… It’s all part of his brilliant strategy.
Just you wait and see. Neither the judge nor any of DOJ attorneys will see any of this coming and Trump will just get up and walk away while they’re all sitting there confused and befuddled by his brilliant defense strategy. The Chewbacca defense has nothing on this.

I sort of thought we’d get to the point where we’d learn all kinds of remarkable things. And more recently I thought that damn Jared had to be mixed up in this. He was always said to be avidly interested in the intelligence part of the job. Of course they knew from the beginning he shouldn’t get clearance, but here we are.

As the original Mueller Investigation got off to a start, I saw references to Kushner and actually felt that scrutiny of him would come to pass. Regardless of Barr (Spring 2019), I still thought about Kushner.
Sometimes young guys fashion themselves as sagacious as older ones. That can be a mistake.
