Trump And His Campaign Pounce On Dems’ Iowa Caucus Fiasco

What were they going to do in the face of the timeline? This was a project that had a hard go-live time and date. It was too far along to not use and they probably hoped they could work around the deficiencies. As I’ve written elsewhere, I’ve been in software applications for 24 years. I have one client that went live under similar conditions in 2013 and they are STILL trying to recover from the debacle.

Somewhat OT and posted already on another thread…

Karma is at work:

All of the campaigns of the opposition candidates should run on the percentage of the time the incumbent has voted with Trump. For the Senate, with #ditchMoscowMitch.

I see it all the time (Dems for how many times they voted with Nancy). This stuff is easy. Don’t let it go by.

Some items of instructive info from the Iowa debacle were these (which I picked up by watching the waiting):

(1) “Beating Trump” tops all other motives for voting Dem

(2) Women are deathly fearful of a Trump second term

(3) Women outnumber men

It did happen to the GOP Iowa Caucus in 2012.

“…sloppiest train wreck in history”

These fabulists, everything is the something ‘gumph’ in history. They know no history.

@becca656 makes the point that everyone should keep in mind: Trump pressured the GOP in some states into canceling their primaries so that he wouldn’t have to confront any criticism. It wasn’t that there weren’t candidates–it was because he was too cowardly to deal with competition.

I’m currently doing some work getting a 7-figure project off the ground. I keep reminding the others in the “steering group” to not overpromise – the first meeting with prospective industry partners is a few months out and I keep reminding everyone “you only get one chance to make a first impression.” You blow it then, you play cleanup for a long, long time…

The Iowa clusterf*ck will be forgotten by June. However, it should be the headline at the next DNC meeting on the primary schedule. Give Iowa an ultimatum: scrap the caucus or get your delegates voided.

This should also be given to all current caucus states

All I can say is I’m glad I didn’t stay up late waiting for results!

SUBPOENA PARSCALE!!!
If he wants to shoot off his mouth, let’s accommodate him.
MAKE that goony geek cough up The Truth, The Whole Truth, and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH!
Bradley holds more keys to more industrial-strength deceit and engineered falsehood than anyone in this story, and yet he giddily gloats at the struggles of his fellow Americans to make our democracy work for all of us.

Parscale could be the final key to Trump’s removal, he hides more secrets in his digital darkness than all the rest of The Big Apple Dumpling Gang combined.

I would wager he has a record of cooperating with Russia, too, that will be exposed when we finally clear this up in the next few years.

Investigate PARSCALE with a digital microscope and you will find more dirt than anywhere else.

His “delete” files should be observed carefully for a while, too, he’s cocked, locked and loaded to destroy evidence when that time comes, no doubt Vlad’s boys taught him how to do that in a very unique fashion.

Remind them, also, if they over-promise, they’re over-budget. Works every time.

Given what McConnell and the GOP have done, I am having a hard time figuring out why polling for Trump’s removal is at 50%.

Instead of in the high 60s.

Until I get a satisfactory explanation (like people having no access to print or broadcast press), then I am going to assume that we have not gotten to the point where we realize our power.

Because a 70+% poll saying

“Trump must be Removed from Office”

Would shut Trump up from tweeting anything at all.

Because we have never been invaded in modern times…never been occupied…never had the freedom of expression taken from us, we still cannot realize our power…and the Forces of Evil are getting us to accept this evil which is being packaged in the guise of a “two-party Horserace”

Gotta wonder where he’s hangin’ these days…

Yup. My best leverage at the moment is that this is a two-year project to develop a demonstrator and if they screw up, they won’t get a follow-on (with another 7-figure amount, upon which a bunch of jobs are hanging). Which is much more important to them than to me, because I’m retiring next year… :joy:

Extrapolating this out as a “DEMOCRAT” disaster is not helpful, this could have happened at any event where new technology is tried out publicly on a real scale for the first time, ask Steve Jobs.
No one blamed “Democrats” for that one.
But apparently now it is a “DEMOCRAT” problem when technology fails?
This automatic adherence to whatever spin Trump’s team tries on put on things is a real issue right now.
