From the one purchase where we have a cost and number of units it looks like they are going for about $51 a bag. I had a coworker who did some comparison price shopping for body bags a few years ago and from what I remember of that conversation that doesn’t seem that far off from the numbers he was seeing. Admittedly that was a few years ago so there could be some details I am not remembering and he wasn’t looking to buy bulk, which you would think would bring down the price.

No chance that one of Trump’s flunkies (or more likely family) won’t implement some sort of ‘surge pricing’?

So that’s what federal responsibiity is limited to–body bags?

It’s not “responsibility”. He’s being generous, but noooooo you still can’t appreciate it.

$5,100,000.00 divided by 100,000 equals $51 bucks a piece. They must be made out of some real cheap plastic!

But think of the upselling opportunities!

You can go with the Ivakna, which is guaranteed to keep your implants fresh and perky until your funeral.

You can go with the Jared, which comes preloaded with desiccant (note, not allowed within 1,000 yards of a scool).

You can go with the Eric Junior, which comes with a fake beard to help you butch it up.

All available in gold, extra god, extra extra gold, goldly beautiful, beautifully god, and Trump Magnum.

I’m tempted to take this down a route that paints him as some sorted of unsubtly burgeoning serial killer that we never caught on to as dark comedy, but honestly can’t think of a good punchline at the moment. In reality he was wanting to see if body bags would work as an easier way to transport our articulated skeleton models when they are checked out for classroom use. That’s one of the factors I was thinking of when I said there might be relevant details I’m not remembering as I feel he was likely mainly looking at prices for higher quality bags versus more economical options.

That’s the bulk discount wholesale rate negotiated by Kushner Enterprises. The states will pay an inflated high demand market price. Blue states with governors who don’t say nice things about Trump will pay an additional premium.

Never money for testing, case tracing or PPE, but plenty to buy body bags.

Body bags can be made and sold at markup for less than $10. These body bags are being made by Ivanka’s companies in China. Follow the money.

A number of years ago I purchased a 100 pack of reusable Tyvek bags for less than 1/2 that $51 bucks. Granted the bags where only 35"x35"x51" so not body bags but close enough to wonder just who is making the killing (word specifically used here).
