Just another reason why Republicans can never be allowed to gain control of any branch of government in the near future, if ever.

Yet another fact among many that reveal Trump’s instincts. And yet Donnie and theTrumpers continue to maintain that he doesn’t have a racist bone in his body. Deplorable!

How much did the Nunes family farm get in ‘relief’? These ‘gentlemen farmers’ in Congress seem to get their ‘fair share’ all the time!

Did Trump and his Admin know that there are Black Farmers?

Just like the vast majority of PPP funds went to large, not small, businesses. It’s the GQP way.

Senators from states with Big Ag don’t represent socially disadvantaged farmers, I guess.

Surprised Chuck Grassley hasn’t said anything about this.

There weren’t any on Green Acres, so how would they know?

Would be helpful to know what percentage of US farmers are black or what percentage of total acreage is worked by black owners.
Without that type of information the percentages are meaningless.

Farm owners who are black is what threw them off.

They were perfectly fine with blacks who work on farms - in fact, they’d be quite happy with blacks who slave away on farms. Part of our heritage, you know.

Of the 3.4 million farmers in the United States today, only 45,000 — 1.3 percent — are Black, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. That’s down from 1 million a century ago, because of widespread land loss.

Trump kept his Oath to his Keepers, so they must be Proud of their Boy. I’m just surprised he didn’t give black farmers 3% as a threat.

Thanks for the info. How were the funds determined - Total acreage, past revenue etc???
My point is a reporter writing this story like this should include this information.

Probably represents their underlying error rate.

They meant for it to be 0%, but they screw up from time to time.

I’m reminded of the journalist Sam Donaldson receiving mohair subsidies for his New Mexico ranch. I’m sure the likes of gentlemen farmers like Grassley and Nunes get something.
