With COVID-19, the speculation is that a mask cuts down on the number of viruses that enter a person’s airway, and if a small number slip through or around the mask, it may prompt strong and enduring immunity.

If and when we have a Biden admin they will have a time restoring trust in the CDC and FDA. I’ve little confidence in either rn. The professionals who have been put in the position of stating the Trump party line will never regain their credibility. It’s so sad. I guess that’s been the GOP game plan all along, though: to destroy trust in government.

That is not at all questionable. We’re talking about an industry that routinely jacks up the prices of life-sustaining drugs - just because they ARE life sustaining. Have you seen the price of insulin lately? No reason for it, other than its customers cannot live without it. THAT’s the industry you think might not do the right thing? Ya think?
Of course they’re in the bag for trump. Same for most large corporations. By the time this pandemic subsides here in the US, there won’t be any small businesses left. They fuckin love trump.

State plans should say: “Initial distribution will be to all Republican elected officials, their appointed staffs, Republican candidates for office, and major Republican donors, campaign staffs, SuperPAC staff, etc. Six months later, we will decide whether other people in this state should receive the vaccine.”

First sow extreme (and eminently justifiable) doubts about the vaccine so no one wants it.
Then claim that it is available for anyone who wants it. Since no one wants it, the promise is fulfilled even if there is no vaccine.
