Trump Admin Calls In National Guard Against LA Protestors

Fetterman proves you don’t have to be brain damaged to support Trump but it sure helps. I cut this guy enough slack to bungee jump off the empire state building and he has elected to betray everything he seemed to support. I won’t call him a duplicitous POS because I believe he is severely injured, but it doesn’t make it sting any less.

ew Details Suggests Troops Plan To Accompany ICE On Raids

California: Military to ‘Accompany’ Federal Law Enforcement Throughout LA

Creeping militarization if American streets. Classic fascist move, create a problem and then send in jackbooted thugs with guns to intimidate and create fear in the citizenry.

S as Leo a clear attempt by Trump to try to normalize an American military presence in American city streets, beginning with California if course, Trump and tge GOO’s favorite whipping boy scapegoat.

Republicans are both optimistic and know how to work gullible reporters. Democrats are wary and scared.

John’s Backchannel observation is as accurate as ever.

Once again Democrats fail to meet even there bare minimum expectations of the moment, Trump controls the media narrative, and things get worse for the average person.

“Between Walmart and China they should, as is said, ‘Eat the Tariffs,’ and not charge valued customers ANYTHING,” he wrote on Truth Social. “I’ll be watching, and so will your customers!!!”

I just realized why he says such things. As a businessman, he is used to operating at a loss. Doesn’t everybody?

I can’t find the Summer tour dates for future military city invasions. Is Ticketmaster handling this?

Trump is leading the Great White Paroxysm. Caucasians cannot resign themselves to the demographic changes in the U.S. Estimates vary, but in roughly a generation we’ll be a minority majority nation. Trump and the GOP are cementing as many advantages as they can for white people, while they have the numbers to pull it off.

Don’t worry about buying tickets. When it’s time, they will make sure you are in custody attendance.

Wally World games the government for big profits. They get all kinds of tax breaks, infrastructure, and Medicaid and food assistance benefits, directly or indirectly. As a matter of business, they need a functioning government just as much as they need merchandise and customers. The MAGAs can try to boycott, but there’s the problem that Wally World wiped out local competition long ago.

This backlash could cause MAGA-leaning American shoppers to step back from the retailer, potentially impacting sales as the chain faces criticism from other groups as well.

Not likely. The Walmart business model is about putting other retailers out of business in their area so Walmart remains the only viable alternative. Good luck trying to boycott that, MAGA faithful.

Trump is in command of the military. They’ll does as he says. Regardless the laws. What will be interesting is if a court rules Trump is in violation of using the military, citing whatever is relevant. Whereupon Trump flouts the ruling and deploys troops anyway. If he does that, does anyone in the military chain of command refuse Trump’s directions, citing the need to comply with the court’s orders? If they obey Trump, and ignore the courts, I fail to see any mechanism that would force Trump to comply with the law, or court rulings. The 25th Amendment is not going to be successfully invoked. And the Senate wouldn’t convict him in an impeachment trial. So, if Trump ignores the courts and the military obeys his commands, where does that leave us?

This is de facto martial law. ML without the formal declaration.
Serves its purpose – intimidation of our citizens.

My generation is old enough to have observed these changes, and the secondary changes they generate firsthand.

Like you, I’ve witnessed many of the changes, societal and legal. Bussing, poll tests, segregated schools and public facilities, red lining of housing loans, employment discrimination. But I think there’s a vast difference between acknowledging and legislating change, and those changes truly being integrated and accepted by those feeling they’re on the losing end of the new laws, or of a mind the new laws weren’t needed or went entirely too far. White people have in many ways devised workarounds for everything that’s been done in the last 60 years to achieve racial and ethnic equality. Mainly because courts are largely still white, as is Congress and most of our Presidents. Minorities can’t overcome all those opposing factors.
But that may change when whites are less than 40% of the populace. Eventually sheer demographic numbers will see many more minorities in all the power centers deciding how the nation is run. The courts, Congress, state legislatures and Governors, and the Oval Office will eventually have minority ownership. At that point whites will have finally been foiled in their centuries long dominance. And that is the future Trump and his minions seek to stave off, for as long as possible.

It appears the administration is waiting for something. We do not know what.

They’re waiting for a distraction to distract from the distraction about the distraction that everything is going great with the economy despite tariffs.
